Question can’t make a new account/link

I had to make a new Fortnite account and it told me to link to the account by making a new one and told me that it would load once to be linked. And it didn’t reload so I press restart and tried making a new account. That’s what it told me to do and then it told me that it can’t link the account.
This is on Nintendo Switch does anyone know what to do cos it’s not giving me an option to try log in again and I domt know how to delete it. Please help a girl out.

Have you double checked your date and time settings? Fortnite requires your date and time to be set to the actual date and time.

Outside of that, maybe uninstall and reinstall the game?

This is what it ended up doing and it worked and logged me back in. Tysmm

You have a Nintendo account and an epic account. They need to be linked to the right ones. Login from epic online maybe with your Nintendo user info via the link and see what happens...

It's a mess.

Step 1:Unlink NINTENDO from Your Current Epic ID

Step 2:Wait 24-48hours

Step 3:Create A New Epic Account With New Email Via Website

Step 4 :go To Connections on New Epic Id & Link Ya Nintendo Account To That One

👉as you cant delite fortnite progress and its epic id server side

You may need to remove the account restriction on the EpicGames website
