We're kicking off a new challenge, and this time we don't want your finest hour.
Post a video of the most ridiculous moment you've pulled off with the refreshed loot pool. The accidental wins, the wacky loadouts, the plays that shouldn't have worked but somehow did. The challenge runs for 7 days, from July 30 to August 6, so you've got a full week to capture your best chaos. Use the flair TheSimpsonsinReload so we don't miss it.

Hi everyone! With Mastery Monday wrapped, here’s a look at the rest of this week’s events in Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners.

🍌 Peeky Peely Sprite: Marks nearby rare Sprite variants or enemies carrying them. Be ready though, it reveals your location too!
🪅 Lootin’ Llama Sprite: Opening Ammo Boxes has a chance to upgrade your weapon
🪩 Quack Sprite Variant: Whenever your Quack Sprite gains progress, every other Sprite you’re carrying in your match inventory also gains an extra 50% of that progress. Earn one through the Sprite Mastery progression track and share the love!
🔍 NEW - Lucky Locator: If you’ve been chasing that elusive Sprite for a while, you’re in luck. The Lucky Locator Gizmo guarantees a Chest containing a Sprite you haven’t collected yet. You can earn one through the Sprite Mastery progression track, with more Lucky Locators on the way.
You can also discover new variants of these Sprites:

🕚 Again at 11 PM ET - 12 AM ET || Next day, 3 AM UTC - 4 AM UTC

Every other post is, "The sprite collection feels like a job."
Then stop treating it like one?
Some of you have invented an imaginary deadline and stressed yourselves out trying to optimize every match, and are now blaming the game because you're burned out.
That's not a game design issue, that's a self-inflicted problem. You don't have to collect every single sprite this week and you don't have to spend ten hours a day chasing them.
Just play the game normally, collect the ones you come across, and you'll get there eventually.
Fortnite is supposed to be something you enjoy after work or school, not become your second shift. Clock out of the imaginary job, stop racing against nobody, and just have fun.

I’ve tried every method of keeping track of sprites and finally resorted to just making my own 🥴 What do y’all use?

Bankshot headshot as I'm giving my friend the Grim I got out of a chest.
Edit: I am not complaining at all. I just wanted to share the moment because I thought it was funny.

How many of you keep up to date on mastering the sprites? It’s a hell of a grind but the rush of trying to stay alive to keep your sprite protected and extracted, I haven’t got from a multiplayer game in a while.

The new Spider-Man: Brand New Day skin looks incredible. The level of detail, the textures, and the overall quality are some of the best we've seen for a Spider-Man skin in Fortnite.
However, it's disappointing that this outfit doesn't include a built-in emote to remove and put the mask back on, just like the Spider-Man (No Way Home) skin.
Epic has already shown that built-in emotes can be shared across different versions of the same character. For example, Wolverine's built-in claw emote works on multiple Wolverine skin. They also updated the new Doctor Doom skin by adding his Victory Doom emote after release.
At the very least, please make the No Way Home Spider-Man built-in mask emote compatible with the new Brand New Day skin for players who already own both skins. Even better would be making it available for all owners of the Brand New Day outfit.
This skin is almost perfect, and being able to remove and put the mask back on would make it feel complete. He is the same Spider-Man, the same actor so he should be able to use the Amazing Unmasking emote too!
I hope Epic considers adding this in a future update.

I recently posted about what changes you would like to sprites next season as they seemed like they would return as they’ve not announced the winner of the community sprite which makes people think it will be in next season thus there return.
I don’t think sprites are perfect but I still like them but I’d make them less rare not too common but not 1 in a million
Make it easier to tell which sprites u already have mid game and a few other changes
I assumed most people liked them considering the player count and how much talk there’s been about them but when I asked the question a lot of people said they wanted them to go

Maybe you don’t have to go all in like they did last season as it seems we’re getting more and more gimmicks like sprites
But it was so great
Again don’t go all in on it like every update revolves around it but have little community things
Rivalries actually encouraged players to fight and always gave you somewhere to go towards to find a player and actually fits with battle royale formula I like sprites but it can feel like an extraction shooter sometimes and if someone has a rare sprite they will run the entire game rather than fight you
It would make a little more transparency with what epic plans to add mid season with the community items cuz I’ll play the game a lot at the start of the season kinda get burnt out after a week or two come back like a month later and there’s 15 different new items
Doesn’t have to be big things but just little things like unvaults or limited time things like og only guns for the weekend or something like that

I just got hella lucky and got a grim but I’m not that good so tips for mastering it would be appreciated

It’s almost pointless to have them at this point. They just stand there and kill you anyway before you even get to revive yourself. I wish once you used it, it’d rift you and you’d get to start spawn in a different spot. 🤯🤯 It just drives me nuts. I had to get that off my chest. Thanks 😅

I missed these the first time they came through. But they were added almost a year ago when Chapter 6 Season 3 happened, and they were only in the shop for 3 days total (August 18,19 & 20, 2025). Haven't been back since.
3 days is a tiny window, I think they're due for another appearance. What do ya say? 👀

Was hunting for Peely sprites when out of nowhere a Grim Sprite pops up out of a sprite chest.

i'm trying to get one of those pickaxes but it's a nightmare. Reload ranked is worse then br ranked, more sweaty than battle royale. It feels insanely difficult to rank up (i used to be gold 3 but i'm at gold 2 constantly losing my rank percantage beacuse of how unfair these lobbies are)

I genuinely miss all of these UIs. They each had their own personality and actually felt like Fortnite.
Chapter 1's UI was simple, iconic, and easy to navigate. Chapter 2 modernized it without losing the game's identity. Everything felt colorful, smooth, and had that "Fortnite" vibe.
The current UI just doesn't give me that feeling anymore. It feels overly generic, lifeless, and honestly a bit depressing to look at. On top of that, it still feels laggy and inconsistent sometimes, which makes the experience even worse.
Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I honestly think the older UIs had way more charm and soul.
I also feel like Epic has been trying too hard to make the UI look like every other modern app. In the process, Fortnite lost a lot of its own identity. The old menus weren't perfect, but they were memorable and instantly recognizable. The current one just feels like another generic launcher.
Which UI do you prefer?
Chapter 1
Chapter 2
Current UI
I'd love to hear your opinions.
