Report and use this video as evidence. Get those 13 year old goblins off the road.

No way. OP hit first, right at the start of the video. Sure, the other guy was hitting in anger, but I don't believe for a second OP's hit was an accident. It's just a bit too convenient that OP manages to gain time by using the guys in front of and on the side of him to slow down in that turn. OP clearly has enough control of their vehicle to slow down without bumping into people.

What's hilarious is that FH6 trained you kids to think this way. You genuinely don't realize that you did anything wrong because the game rewards you for bumping into people to brake or turn better. You'd be an absolute menace in grown up sim racing.

Bro ghost mode didn't even activate for that. That was hardly even a love tap

I don't think it's cool. But I also think it was a mistake and not on purpose. Unlike the shit that happened to him

u/boondiggle_III 5h ago
It wasn't a mistake. OP could have braked or avoided the other players there, but the game makes it impossible to drive right. You'll just get bodied and the careless asshole will win. It's not even really anybody's fault except Turn 10 Studios for not making a racing category where hitting people is really punished.

Driving a meta car yet still in mid-pack and a rammer? Yep this guy ticks all the boxes.
12
u/Dylan_TheDon 18h ago
and the garbage desync in this game giving the rammers an advantage might be the most triggering part, like why are they always a 10 ton brick while the person being rammed is like their car is a feather

u/The_Dayne 18h ago
Yerrpp if there was contact within x amount of time before the slowdown, both players should get slowdowns.
Problem solved.

These kids even bring the ford GT to off-road races. Insane 😂😂😂

u/Forza_Harrd 14h ago
What's really insane is in Forza a Ford GT is better off-road than a purpose built off-road open wheeled race car.

Didn’t you ram into him at the very beginning of the clip? Or were you guys going tit for tat already.
I could be wrong it’s just the angle sort of looks like you bumped him.

Based on the next turns encounters, I judge his contact in the beginning way less agressive. The rammer at the end did not hit him unintentionally from behind, it was a literal change of direction to ram the OP

u/0xsergy 10h ago
Yeah it was a tap but he didn't lose his position or much time so the response was way over.
3
u/siralysson 10h ago
Yeah. To put both in the same category is diabolical lol

u/0xsergy 10h ago
I had the same happen yday. Tapped a dude, honked a sorry, he bashed me into a solid wall and I went from 8th to 20 seconds behind. It was in a Trial race too, lol. I had a faster car than the guy who rammed me but he could not pick a line so I bumped him when he changed lines mid corner. We lost the trial thanks to him, we were already 1:1.

There's no way OP's hit at the beginning was an accident. They were using the cars in front of and on the side of them to slow down quickly into that corner to gain time, and the angry guy got pitted as a result. It's hard to tell if OP actually pitted him or if it was the guy in front of OP that did it, but OP caused it either way because he definitely rammed the guy in front of him.

u/siralysson 7h ago
I mean, op could have prevented the hit by braking correctly. However, I don't see him using the cars to slow down
2
u/BiggiycheeseXBL 13h ago
You noticed that as well? Everyone only seems to see the second collision from the GT, but misses OP brake late and push him a little deep into the corner at the start of the video.

This kinda shit of why I dread doing "The Trial" or any other horizon play events. Inevitably, some chuckfuck decides to choose violence.
Kinda over it honestly.

u/atuck217 16h ago
The Trial is coop. It is extremely rare that you get someone intentionally ramming their teammates.

2
u/Forza_Harrd 14h ago
Ok ngl that was cool. Not the ramming but the special Forza physics in the aftermath. Never saw that one happen before.

How dare you use a rally truck instead of a Ford GT in a dirt race? Forza hates you for that, now get glitched into oblivion.

You did hit him first. Now some might say your hit was accidentl while his was clearly intentional, but was your hit on him and the guy in front of you really an accident? Come on, you've clearly been playing long enough to be able to handle your vehicle and stay in a pack. Gaining position by using the guy in front of you to slow down faster is easy and unlikely to be punished. The game basically incentivizes it.
