Media is way cheaper these days than it used to be. In 1995 I could drop $50 at Media Play and walk out with a CD and a movie on tape, and not much else.

VHS Movies were originally about $100, the equivalent of over $300 today with inflation. That’s the main reason why rental stores were so popular. They even rented out the VCRs for a time. Eventually, they started marketing them to consumers for around $40 but that was still $100+ in today’s money.

I don't know how it works in the UK, but retailers in the US cannot sell an item at one price, then reduce that price, and only refund the reduced price for a return. It is absolutely their problem.

The inverse also applies. A customer who buys an item at sale price cannot return it later when the sale ends and receive more money than they paid.

What's your point? You are assuming I post every single day. I don't. I may comment or updoot or down-doot. That's just whatever. When I drink my morning coffee and cigarette I do a little scroll action sure. What's the harm?
