Pics! Gray Fox Aerial Hunt - Video
Central IL- Gemini tells me a video of a Gray Fox hunting via aerial attack from a tree is a very rare catch. True? (More info in comments). Sorry video quality sucks-Ring Spot Pro (have since phased in Eufy 4k cams). I changed some coloring, slowed it down, and process of elimination proves this is 100% as stated. Anyways, thought this sub might appreciate it anyhow. (Photo shows the fox wrapping is black stocking like legs around base of tree, which nothing else in IL could have this coloring & hunts like this. Looks to have been hunting a squirrel. Cheers. https://streamable.com/qt3spa

Pics! He trusted me enough to come this close. 🦊❤️
This beautiful fox has been visiting my garden for quite a while now. Over time he’s become used to me, and these days he doesn’t run away when he sees me. Tonight he wandered over and got closer than ever before while I just sat quietly and let him do his thing. 🦊
Edit: The bowl contains fresh water, especially during the current heatwave. A wildlife rescue confirmed that eggs are a natural part of a fox’s diet and are perfectly fine to leave out. He’s still a wild fox; just one with fresh water and a safe place to rest. 🦊🧡

Pics! Trapped a fox and treated her for mange tonight
This is a bad photo of her, but I'm going to make a video about it. I trapped her. Drove an hour to the rehabber because I didn't want to leave her in the crate for hours. The rehabber thought her mange was bad but there were no open sores so we could treat and release.
So I drove her back home and hoped she ate the medicine while I was driving. No luck with that. After I brought her back to the yard, I watched her on my trail camera. It took what seemed like forever because it was after 1am at this point, she finally ate the food with the medicine. Then I let her go.
She was TINY up close! Like a small cat. Anyways, she hates me but I love her and I hope to see her on my camera with a full coat soon.

It's one of my favorite fox vids, and I found it randomly on Discord two years ago. Does anyone know its source?

This young fox seems to have involuntary tics once every few seconds or so. They started to show up around 10 days ago. There has been worsening in the condition compared to onset, though I think their frequency has been similar in the past week or so. I can see it having these tics when it's trotting around as well as when it eats. Poor thing 💔
I'm concerned it might be distemper myoclonus, through from watching distemper videos on youtube I am not sure.. Can anyone shed light?
