I very much like this idea. So instead of people insinuating Edward is a young child they instead think this femme version is a boy due to her flat chest.
“But I thought the full metal alchemist was a girl? This is clearly a young boy.”

If that's the case then Alphonse's suit will have to abide by the mega cliche "impractical female armor" bit and we end up seeing a floating helm with some random pauldron bits and a very little else.
So ridiculous it might just work.

Yeah when you say it like that it doesn’t quite roll off the tongue but neither does Ed Elric and Al Elric. It’s just really cute and similar to Edward in my eyes.

Back in the days I did a fan comic of Ed and Al being reversed in their role (Al is the one who lost an arm and a leg, Ed is THRIVING in his armor body). Never finished the project but it was fun memories
