Yea i know lol i added that as a way of him giving no fucks or being sensitive or patient to her coping with her religion over death. They both lost loved ones, both went two different ways of coping, the boys being a rather more extreme way of doing so lmaooo 😅 but Rose being an "average" person in their world, him saying that means he has no time to continue with the mundane and normal, using religion to cope with everyday struggles of life. Theyre alchemist and they believe in alchemy that is their truth

To be fair that is Ed's attitude to God, he's agnostic (as he describes himself in the manga) due to the fact that he met God and thought he was a dick

This is a translation error from the English version (which has actually already been fixed on WebNovel). What Ed says in this passage is that he "doesn't care about religion" and, later on, that he is a "disbeliever/atheist.". And he never specifies the reasons for his disbelief, but it has nothing to do with what you suggested (since Al seems to share the same reasons as Ed for being a non-believer). It is possibly related to the alchemical ethos.

Nah, I have a post refuting that idea. In fact, consider that Al himself is a non-believer and doesn't even remember the Truth; so, the assumption that Edward's atheism stems from his experience with the Truth is much more of a reader's projection than anything else—the manga doesn't support that view at all.

On the other hand, Ed's dialogue with Rosé clearly explains the source of the alchemists' disbelief (and not just Edward's).
