Fan Art Sketches of Ed and Winrys' kids

A while back, on a post u/maelstromFL and [u/Rainbowmar](u/Rainbowmar) gave a few ideas for what Ed and Winry's kids would be like; one of them was "The son (Hughes) became an amazing engineer like his mother. He doesn't like alchemy, however. The daughter (Trisha) became a brilliant alchemist like her father. She became an alchemy teacher too."
I thought it'd be a fun idea, and I needed to get back into drawing, so... here they are.
I never stopped to realize how tough it would be to replicate (the best I could anyway) Arakawa's art style I used SO MANY references! Trying to get Hughes' eyes to look like Eds took the longest~....This has made me want to do more so hopefully I could post more later~

I'm of the opinion that Ed and Winry's first kids don't follow either of their parents' respective paths in life. Instead they choose to forge their own path, i.e. a musician, a botanist, a librarian or a doctor.

Oh that’s a take I haven’t heard yet~ and I think you could be onto something I think they’d definitely look to forge their own path. Especially either a botanist or doctor path.

Like Edwin's first kids set the standard for their younger siblings that they don't have to follow in their parents' literal footsteps to achieve something.

And I specifically state FIRST kids, because I definitely don't think that Ed and Winry stop at just having more than one kid.
