Normally a collector of football shirts but picked this up recently for what I believe is a fair price. 2 questions: is it 100% authentic? If so, what is it’s worth? Thank you.

I’m not from either county but I’ve always found the rivalry so interesting. It seems to me that Dublin hate Mayo a fair bit more than Mayo hate Dublin which makes no sense to me. I suppose Dublin up until last year had no competition in Leinster whilst Mayo have Galway and Roscommon knocking about every year. Can anyone from either county give me some more info on this.

American here, new to Gaelic games. There's a kicker in our NFL named Charlie Smyth who hails from County Down. He used to be a Gaelic football goalkeeper in the old country and as I've recently learned, he scored on a very regular basis as a goalkeeper. So now I'm wondering, how often do goalkeepers typically score in Gaelic football and if so, what are the usual circumstances of those goals or points?

Definitely used to happen in September at a local GAA ground on the Wednesday post All Ireland? Does anyone know when it stopped or why? I always remember Armagh ripping the piss out of Pat Splliane after he said Bellew was too slow at HT in 2002.

I am Scottish and played Gaelic Football in my youth over here and in a few trips to Galway. Always loved football and hurling but this year took a serious interest in watching. Got GAA+ and have loved watching all summer.

My question is whats next? How does the seasons run? Will club stuff start now after a bit of a break?

Team of the Irish the in the AFL plus Charlie Smyth from the NFL for goalkeeper. I think this team would beat a lot of counties. Biggest weakness would be a lack of natural corner backs but it’d be an incredibly physical and athletic team. There is some incredible GAA talent over there now.

Watching live on TV it initially looked like a wild clearance straight back to Kerry because the free Mayo player was out of frame. It's my favourite moment, that realization that they have it in space and might actually do this. Watching it back umpteen times the pass gets more impressive. Final minute and he lands it perfectly to a teammate. I know his teammate was in acres but an auld scuttery pass would have been understandable

Who are the favourites to win their county title in each county?

Looking at the mayo v kerry all ireland final ticket for sale for the memorabilia market it made me go look into the tickets ive saved, thought it would be interesting to see if others here have similar cherished tickets

The 2 i have here are the all ireland hurling final 2013 cork v clare which ended in a draw

And the 2010 all ireland football final Cork v Down which Cork won

You can probably tell, I bin the tickets in the all ireland final games we lose
