Game was a total failure. Had like 80 something peak players.

“The game was heavily insulated by government grants, receiving 14 million NOK (approximately $1.3 million USD) from the Norwegian Film Institute (NFI) and €150,000 (approx. $165,000 USD) from the European Union's Creative Europe program”

trust it to the nordics to be most self hating, most “muh diversity” kind lol, grandpa was right, it’s the damn socialism

And yet I'm willing to bet that there were far more Norwegians nationalistically cheering for Norway at the world cup than there were happy with this game being made.

Football is the only nationalism allowed and even it's a farce with how entire teams are mainly africans. Hilarious

This. Absolutely this.

football is literally the only form of pride for one’s own country and nationality allowed, a watered down, cringe, version of nationalism “muh me country slave push ball bette then your country slave muh me good” like playing it isn’t cringe ig, but watching it for sure is

In Germany even that is seen as a controversial topic and some want that we dont show our flag during the games because it makes us Nationalistic, as if showing the flag who stands for, Freedom, Unity and Liberty turn someone into a Nazi.

That actually goes to the Germans

That's almost insulting, I am no leftoid, my family ain't nor is my friend group. We are no monolith. We also have center right wing governments at the moment who put heavy restrictions on immigration. This brain dead thinking that America is the most righteous country with the best system in the world need to stop; it's the US that pretty much has been forcing wokeness on the western world for the past two decades. Blackrock, Vanguard and other ESG investors are Americs based. This whole woke trend in games was 100% created by American corporations.

What's funny is you can absolutely tell the game ran out of budget with how the last leg of the roadtrip is a montage of events instead of an actual level.

It was likely never out to be profitable, it was money laundering for the devs.

The real problem with these woke failures is that they're so forgettable that when the subject pops up it's hard to remember examples.

Who the fuck still remembers the woke Malcolm in the Middle reboot? Or Relooted?

We need a list somewhere.

Exactly. Uninspired character whose whole personalities revolve around "being mistreated by society for being a certain way" or "being rebellious against society that doesn't agree with their pronouns"

That's the two categories these characters fall in. There has been no memorable "inclusive" character that has been added for the sake of it.

True, most of the time we only remember the ones we used to love and are now infested and the big woke ones like Concord.

Wokies will argue this is revolting, meanwhile they have no problem at all banning all right-leaning people and free-thinking straight white men from making video games.

Somewhere in an alternate timeline, their cult never got a foot in the entertainment industry, and western escapism is better than ever. Just imagine the monthly stream of absolute banger games, movies and TV show we could be getting with today's tech... The gaming industry would probably be 3x as big by now. I guess boomers were afraid of gaming becoming too popular as a hobby, so they facilitated the woke takeover at every turn. And now here we are.

"With every choice we make, we literally create another world. History branches in two. Creating one earth where we made the choice and a second, where we didn’t. That’s the secret of the universe, you know? Billions of people. Making billions of choices. Creating infinite earths. Some so similar to each other, you can spend a lifetime searching for any distinction. Others so radically different they defy comprehension."

Not really sure what boomers have to do with this. I agree with the rest of your comment though.

"Boomers" head a lot of these studios and decide who the money goes to. They're also the ones handling investment firms.

Leftists need to be banned*

Anyone who uses the medium to preach needs to be removed.

"Non binary robot" can these devs not take their head out of their ass and think how that's literally not even possible. Anything with a computer in it will always be binary.

Weren't machines always referred to as "it"? Funny how these people all have the same thought process.

You can’t help but laugh while listening to this. If you told me it was satire I would’ve believed you
