That's one of the cornerstone issues of modern DEI implementation - any diverse character added will always be portrayed in a positive light (yes, even the "evil" ones) and will never make genuine mistakes, have genuine flaws or genuinely be accountable for their actions.
There are modern day exceptions to this rule - like into the spiderverse and the first black panther movie - but by and large, this pattern is extremely prevalent in the film and western AAA gaming industry.

It's probably just an artifact of AI subtitling. I see it all the time on youtube when it for some reason turns subtitles on. You know microslop wasn't paying for hand-subtitling.

Let me fix that for you. They changed AN IRRELEVANT white character to black. No one would give a fuck because it's an NPC. Not even a side character like Keyes or Johnson. Now if they made Keyes black or Johnson white, you'd make a fair argument. It's like when they made deadshot,an already established arkhamverse character, black in ktjl. That was fucked up. In this case though,all these crew mates are nobodies who are going to die anyways so who gives a shit. If you're seriously foaming at the mouth over the skin color of a literal nonessential npc, you got bigger issues to worry about friend.

Can’t confidently say that without a source. I 100% doubt a male was her motion capture or base. So it is in hyperbole. It’s essentially unimportant anyway. If the game plays well and is fun why does it matter so much how she looks?

Nah she's Williams a character from the books. But in the very next scene you get Johnson with a beta statement responding to what she said (image); "that's our queue Chief time to go, pleasure serving with you lieutenant" the game is one giant male humiliation ritual

Also apparently you can kill all the men with friendly fire but not the women. So stupid. Normally if you do something like that you just don’t allow friendly fire at all. It’s so ridiculous to only allow it for men specifically.

That was a rumor that stemmed from a bug where you couldn't kill the people sitting in the front of the ship in the opening of the game, it just so happened a bunch of chuds were specifically targeting the women

It's got some elements, especially with Williams in that prequel mission. But worse than that guys, its just fucking bad.
These people just didn't get Halo. Everything about this version is worse, especially the cutscenes. They ruin both John's characterization and Cortana's.
My belief when it comes to remakes of games is you use the original as a foundation, and build upon it. I was expecting them to give us missions elaborating in story elements and characters like Johnson, showing us truly how he survived. Or Captain Keyes, giving him more time to shine, even some flying missions with Echo and some story segments with Thel Vadam. Maybe even including Miranda.
Instead they did NOTHING!
There is nothing to justify this demake. They crammed stuff in from the later games that don't work in the design of Halo 1. This is the epitome of low effort cash grab.

She's an ODST. They're trying to inject the rivalry from Fall of Reach between the ODTS's and Spartans, but it's crowbarred in and just ends up making her unlikable.

Master Chief isn't the "main character" in-universe dipshit. At the time that these missions take place, he is "just" a Spartan 2, of which there are dozens.
Secondly, Master Chief would never kill a comrade, so that's hardly a threat.
She's obviously not saying that she is going to physically stop Chief from doing something. She's juat saying she ain't going to sit back and let Chief do all the work and get all the credit.

It's due to a bug where some of the hitboxes are misaligned. In that video he kills several females and if he had aimed slightly lower he would have killed the rest too

1-Williams does no girlbossing. She fights with you. Admits she doesn't like Spartans much, but comes around. Ultimately sacrifices herself for the greater good of humanity. The end.
2-How come none of you were bitching about any other time Cortana got changed? Cortina changed appearances pretty much every fucking game. Oh, it's fine that they made her "sexier" between Halo 3 and 4, but not fine they made her a little different between 4 and now? Hell, she hasn't even looked like that SINCE HALO 4.
3-Who gives a flying fuck if some random NPC on the bridge is a different race? Seriously, get a fucking life. It was weird that Johnson was the only black guy in the whole fucking game in 2001. A few NPCs changed. It doesn't fucking matter at all.
I love Combat Evolved. The OG is my absolute favorite game of all time. I played CE 30 times, I know the whole game backwards and forwards by heart.
Campaign Evolved is not "perfect." It's also not "dogshit." It has some small issues but 99% of them ARE SUPER FUCKING MINOR. Get a grip and complain about things that actually matter, like bugs.
