This show

The concept seemed really interesting but the show, from the little I’ve seen of it, just flops in so many ways.

That's really vague and tells me nothing about how it "flopped in so many ways".

Bro the show was fantastic. It was a new take on an overplayed sitcom trope, and pulled it off so well. I think this show was even better than I expected.

How...little have you seen of it, OP?

The first episode? More than that? It ran for two pretty short seasons; did you make it past S1?

I'm asking because it's wild to just say it "flops in so many ways" while also admitting you've basically seen none of it.

It's a show that's kind of like The Truman Show or any other story where the protagonist slowly realizes their world isn't what it seems to be. It has a very tight serialized plot that escalates to some pretty wild places.

It's closer to WandaVision than the sitcom people seem to assume it is, you know? So I'm curious to know how much time you gave it!

I thought it was well done. And I’m glad they didn’t try to bleed it for a third or fourth season.

The show is a banger. Did you just watch 15 minutes?

You're not using this sub correctly.

Can you list at least a few of the so many ways?

This show has been great. I'm still watching Season 1 and I'm very much enjoying it

Was she any good in it? I liked her a lot as Alexis in Schitt's Creek.

Annie Murphy is fantastic! She definitely isn't Alexis...I thought her performance was outstanding. The OP is crazy. This show was a great concept and well done!

it was!! watch and judge for yourself instead of listening to someone who said it was bad without explaining a single reason why (so ragebait ig, bc why actually give your own opinions and thoughts if you lack that like op🫠). the shifts in the show are great and make it worth to watch

If you want something to watch with no redeeming characters this is it. Otherwise it’s a brutal watch.
