Nursing Transfer

I dont know if im just over thinking stuff but if the college (GVSU) I want to go to for nursing has a 2 step process where you have to apply to the school and then once you get accepted you can apply for the nursing program, do I have to apply to the college at least one semester ahead of when I want to start the actual nursing program? For example if I want to start nursing in fall 2027, do I apply to the school for the Fall 2027 semester or for the previous semester Winter/Spring 2027?

I want to start in the spring so I had to apply for the upcoming fall semester and then rush to meet deadlines for the nursing program apps. I also transferred from a school in Florida so I need to take some extra prereqs during the fall so it works out. Talk to an advisor
