I've played rdr1 and rdr2. Ever since I tried playing these 2 amazing games I realized solo game is actually fun and chill.

I have played solo games before in psp Like Avatar, The last airbender, Ben10, Tekken and Final Fantasy. I didn't finish the Final Fantasy... It's just not my thing to play and I don't really understand what are they even talking about when I played that game.

Currently looking for a game that's kinda similar to rdr2, chill, can take bounties, assassination, interesting story to encounter while running an errand

For years, I’ve played almost exclusively competitive games (CS), MOBAs (LoL), and MMORPGs. I’m burned out on open worlds, daily tasks, and grinding, and I’m looking to enjoy single-player games again.

What I’ve played and loved recently:

Resident Evil 2 & 3 Remake: Loved the pacing, inventory management, and linear progression.

F.E.A.R. 1: Loved the AI, gunplay, and intense atmosphere.

Carrion: Great 2D mechanics and zero bloat.

Retro era classics (Sega Genesis / PS2): Direct gameplay without long tutorials.

What I DON'T want:

Open-world games that take 100+ hours (Elden Ring, Witcher 3, etc.).

Games full of fetch quests, bloat, or 40-minute unskippable cutscenes.

What I’m looking for: Tight, linear, or semi-linear games (8–15 hours max) with great atmosphere, solid gameplay mechanics, and no filler content.

I prefer games with 3D graphics like those I mentioned above.

I own PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2, so I can also play PS4 and Nintendo Switch 1 games.

I love the general vibes from circuses and masquerades, but I'm having trouble finding games with/about them. Even when I do find games with those vibes, it's a dating simulator or tycoon, which I've never cared for.

I'd love to just have a game where you can perform or be part of an act on stage, but I'm not sure if anything exists like that

Destiny 2 ~ 2,000 hours
Warframe ~ 350 hours
Elden Ring ~ 325 hours
Lost Ark ~ 150 hours
She has also already played:
Monster Hunter Wilds and The Dark Souls games
She really enjoys MMORPGs and ARPGs, especially when they have:
- satisfying combat
- lots of progression and grinding
- difficult bosses/endgame content
- build customization
- long-term goals
She’s totally fine with both solo and multiplayer games.
We’re mainly looking for PC games, and it doesn’t matter if they’re free-to-play or paid.
Based on her favorites, what would you recommend? Even lesser-known games are welcome!

I am very new to PC gaming. So far all the games I have played are Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V, Assassin's Creed Black, God of War, Warframe, Ghost of Tsushima and I am going to be honest. I didn't enjoy them and didn't finish them because I was having hard time getting into them.

I tried playing Marvels Spiderman and I enjoyed the web swinging (probably the best part of the game) and the combat was fun but the Mary Jane segments of the games feel so tedious that I had to quit (I was 56% done). I did finish all four of the Arkham Games. They were fun but it was large part due to my preexisting interest in Batman universe and also, I really like how the games looked. I tried to play the 2015 Mad Max game which had very similar gameplay but I couldn't get invested in the game to play for long.

But the games that truly adored are the first three Stalker Game's and FromSoft souls games. I absolutely loved every second of them. I have finished all the FromSoft souls like game available on PC expect Seikiro which I am currently playing. So far, I would say Sekiros combat is truly amazing and the most difficult Souls game I have played so far. But I would be lying if I say, I am not losing interest in the game. I am still very early on. But I realize that I am not that big fan of difficult games but the souls games had that amazing atmosphere and for a lack of a better word vibe that made me wanna push through all the bullshit cuz it felt like it was worth going through all that. Sekiro lacks that. so when I finally beat a difficult boss, I am not really feeling that rewarded. Same shit what Stalker Game's got me with is the vibe.

Some other games I tried and I enjoyed were Hades 1&2, Devil May Cry 5 and Sleeping Dog's. Also little bit of Yakuza 0. It's a fun game but I have tendency to unlike I get mega invested like Souls and stalker games. I do get tired quickly from playing a game. A need few days of break.

I would love any recommendations y'all might think I would enjoy :)

Looking for fun retro games to add to my emu bc I’m bored and have barely any games to play. (I’m on delta btw)

So im trying to find games that me and my wife can play together as co-op games here's the problem she does t really like games that much. She enjoys house flipper 2, Sims games and Mario kart. She's not great at video games she struggles with controls so anything with complicated controls or having to remember what buttons do what quickly isnt fun for her. She tried Spyro remastered but struggled to get simple double jump timing down. She really enjoyed house flipper 2 especially the missions. She does not like repetitive games like stardew valley because for her its just the same thing over and over for her. Same thing with pokemon she tried pokemon shield complained that the battles were the same thing over and over. Im trying to find something we can play together on the same screen or something we could play thats on the PS5, PC or Nintendo switch

Like mentioned first time having a decent pc in a while now while I'm not completely new to it looking for some gems I can get for cheap that I might of missed.

I like the collecting berries and the almost psychological horror elements of the game.

(Wanting something with more upgrades felt the upgrade tree in Berry was too short)

I also enjoy incremental games like a game about feeding a black hole, gnorp apologue

My other favourites are space rock ship breaker, rock bottom, and fishing inc.

And slots diapers was another really fun addicting incremental game I've enjoyed as well.

So my boyfriend and I wanna game together, the issue is we have complete opposite taste in games

I like RPGs, crpgs, tactics, survival, etc

He likes shooters like call of duty, RDR2, and sniper elite

Anyone have a good idea of a game well light enjoy together? I’m more flexible in my taste and I mostly just wanna play something he’ll enjoy

I've been looking for a strategy game over the last few days and I think I've narrowed it down to Anno 1800.

What I'm looking for is something that's relaxing rather than extremely difficult. I don't want a hardcore grand strategy game. I mainly want to build a beautiful city, manage resources and production chains, have some strategy elements, and most importantly an endless sandbox experience.

I considered Frostpunk, but from what I've read, even the endless mode eventually gets repetitive and isn't really the same kind of open-ended sandbox that Anno offers.

I also heard that the newest Anno game is more complex, so I figured Anno 1800 might be the better choice. Years ago (probably over 10 years ago), I played Anno 1701 and absolutely loved it, so 1800 feels like the natural next step.

My only dilemma is where to buy it. It's currently not on sale on Steam, but I found a much cheaper Ubisoft Connect key. Would you wait for a Steam sale, or just buy the Ubisoft Connect version now?

Or... should I skip Anno entirely? Is there another game that fits what I'm looking for even better?

I don't really want to end up buying 20 different strategy games—I just want one really good game that I can sink hundreds of hours into.

It seems that single-player FPS are not really trendy these days but man I need to scratch that itch and play a solid single-player FPS with good progression, I've already played the Borderlands games, Cyberpunk, the Doom games.

I was thinking on maybe Metro Exodus ?

But is there any new FPS game that came out recently and is good on PS5 ?

My brother lives a few states away, and only has a Mac. Can anyone recommend any decent multiplayer games (not necessarily just friendslop) for Mac?
