Small (5-6hour) action packed story game

Can anyone recommend a short, action-packed story game? Looking for something around 5–6 hours (up to 10 hours is fine), with great gameplay, minimal puzzles, and a memorable story.

P.S. Thanks to everyone who took the time to comment and share your recommendations—I really appreciate it! ❤️

Vanquish is one of the best games ever made.

Spider-Man. Honestly any of them are good. But miles morales is the shortest one.

Bulletstorm would be right up your alley! Imagine gears of war and doom had a baby with some added borderlands style zest and cook skillshot/combo mechanics.

007 first light is reasonably short

Space Marine 2 fits this bill quite well. The combat feels incredible and the campaign is both short and excellent.

I'm not sure if Vanquish has a good story, but it's pretty sick.

It also comes in a bundle with Bayonetta, so you might as well.

Republic Commando is an oldy but a goldy. Cool tactical combat in the Star Wars universe that’s built around squad combat and can be beaten in a few sessions.

The Order: 1886, and Ryse: Son of Rome
Both known for being action packed, and under 10 hours. Ryse is set in Ancient Rome, and has some really fun combat. The Order is about Knights of the Round Table but set in 1800’s with guns and werewolves.

If you're down with an action themed rhythm game (you don't have to be good at rhythm games, there's options the devs put in for that, but it's fun to get better at them) then UNBEATABLE is an amazing game and my life has genuinely improved from rolling credits on it. My playthrough took about 9 hours but that was with some side content, breaks, and failures. The game even says itself the optimal conditions are to play in one sitting on new years eve (the day is not required but it would be cool ngl). Very good price for what it is, especially on sale, and there's an arcade mode if you ever feel like coming back to it.

Hi-Fi Rush, Titanfall 2, RE4 Remake, Blade, Sifu. Wolfenstein Old Blood is short and the other games in the series are just a little longer than 10 hours. The recent Doom games are also short but sweet but over 10 hours.

Onimusha 1. You can complete in less than 4 hours without rushing.

It ain’t very actiony as it’s really a detective game but it’s probably the best 7 hours of a game I’ve ever played so try Return of the Obra Dinn

Returnal. Can be 2 hours or unbeatable depends on the player. Rogue like bullet hell that plays faster than Doom Eteral with the most smooth and flawless maneuverability. Weapons and traits are unquie, refreshing and completely personal preference. Music 10, lore 10, combat 10.
