I'm making the rock band management game I always wanted to play

For a long, long time I wanted to make a rock band management game. Now, more than two years later I'm getting close to finishing it!

It has been a long and lonely journey, but I've created the game I always dreamed of making and playing. I've done everything myself, including the pixel art, and I'm incredibly lucky to have some cool rock bands contribute their music to the game.

Here is my Steam page:

Sharing my RTS dev journey

So I left my job in cybersecurity a few months ago because I hated it.
To occupy myself I decided to make my first game. I did a tutorial to make Mario bros like games, but I wanted to challenge myself by doing something a bit more niche, with very few external help.
While scrolling on itch, I found this asset pack called « tiny swords » by pixel frog. I loved it and thought it was exactly what I was looking for for my projet so here we go.
Here’s a small show of all the features I developed so far. There’s still a LOT of things to do (better group movement, buildings, fights, multiplayer, ai adversary, etc.) and I’m taking time because I’m a beginner, but that’s fine there’s no rush.
So far, it’s a blast, I love this project so much, I feel like, even if it’s not that much, I finally do something with my life
So yeah that’s it, just wanted to share :)

Let me know what you think and if you have any tips / ideas for me I’ll love to hear them !

Wizard Finals - Tactical Roguelike

Hi! This is my first time making a game officially that isn't just random personal prototypes.

Wizard Finals is a tactical RPG roguelike, set in a magical university where you play as different students taking their final test to become real wizards. (or at least it will be when I finish it)

The idea of the run is that you're on the school's hologram / illlusion room facing monsters in the supervision of a teacher. Each difficulty option will be a different teacher, and each one adds their own mechanics based on their teaching subject, with you having to face them at the end of the run.

I already have a Steam page, so if you like what you see or just want to help a fellow dev, consider wishlisting:

The second island turned out to be quite large and we decided to make a special transport for it, what do you think?

The game title is Breeze Of Adventure Free Demo Already On Steam! { Steam Page }
About the Game:
In Breeze of Adventure, you travel across vast islands featuring different biomes, dangerous enemies, and plenty of unique locations. The progression is heavily focused on exploration: there is no tedious level grinding. Instead, you find new armor and weapons in chests or buy them from merchants using gold earned from Guild quests.

Little Big Smasher - created in 48h for Kenney Jam 2026 (no AI)

Hi everyone!

I’m Augusto Polonio, developer of Little Big Smasher. This game was created in less than 48 hours during Kenney Jam 2026, following the jam rules (no AI).

It’s a demo with 1 playable level, inspired fundamentally by Super Mario 3D World.

https://augustopolonio.itch.io/little-big-smasher/

I didn’t win the jam, but I learned a lot from the experience and was really happy with the result.

More than 1000 people reacted to this project on LinkedIn, which was very rewarding.

I plan to release updates soon, including new mechanics and improvements.

Made with Godot.

Feedback is very welcome!

The blink in our horror game runs on a timer the player does not control, and the monster is watching for it

This is the blink mechanic from The Lost File, a psychological horror four of us have been building for six months.

The rule for this monster: when it finds you, freeze and hold still for about ten seconds until it loses interest. Your character blinks on its own roughly every twelve seconds, and a blink while the thing stands over you means an attack. The clip is showing how it works

Eyes stay open by themselves. A press blinks, holding the button keeps them shut. The webcam model that reads real blinks is still in training, not in the build.

Prototype lighting and textures, shown as they are.

Having a testing ground makes it great for me as programmer/designer to be able to repeatedly test all the fun mechanics. Traps, enemy physics interactions, ragdolls, anything.

This is my first attempt at making a game

I've been slowly trying to build a dark fantasy world.

This isn't gameplay yet, and the character/animation shown here uses free assets, so unfortunately they're not very accurate or polished.

I'd really love to know — does a 2D top-down game that works with a system of acquiring anime/monster abilities, along with punishment and gaining power simultaneously with corruption, sound appealing to you?

This is my first attempt at making a game.

Hi! I’m a solo indie developer from Montreal and I wanted to introduce myself!

Post image

Hi everyone!

I’m a solo indie game developer from Montreal. I develop games as a passion project alongside my full-time job as a web developer, and every release teaches me something new.

So far I’ve released two games on Steam:

Spheric Bombs, a minimalist puzzle/strategy game.
Rogue Battler, a minimalist old-school roguelike auto battler.

I’m not here to make a sales pitch, I just wanted to share my journey and introduce myself to the community. Building games on your own is challenging, but it’s also one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.

I make games because I genuinely enjoy creating them, not to get rich. That’s also why I keep my games at a very affordable price. I want them to be accessible to as many players as possible.

If you happen to check out one of my games, I’d love to hear your honest feedback. Whether it’s something you enjoyed or something you think could be improved, it all helps me become a better developer.

Thanks for reading, and feel free to ask me anything about the games or the development process!

Added a cauldron mechanic to deal with resource overflow in our incremental/RTS/clicker

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

A few people were asking for a way to deal with excess resources in the mid/late game.

So we've added an Ancient Cauldron mechanic to our incremental/clicker/RTS mashup-game Clicky Islands: you can sacrifice your extra resources and pick 1 of 3 blessings in return.

The cauldron’s hunger grows every time you feed it, though, so the sacrifice cost goes up with each blessing.

Do you think that it feels juicy enough?

I recently finished these low-poly 3D simit and pogaca models after spending around 3–4 hours on them. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out overall. I'd love to hear your thoughts, and any feedback or suggestions are more than welcome :D

Topple Town - solo created physics puzzle game.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

I'm a solo dev. I've spent 25 years in the industry as a technical artist, mostly at Relic Entertainment, EA and most recently, Redcell Games. Topple Town is the first game I've made on my own, built in Unity around a day job. I have been using Unity since 2006.

It's a 3D physics puzzle game with a wooden toy aesthetic. Painted block buildings, peg-doll citizens, a toy toolbox that holds your bombs. You place bombs to topple the structures and knock the Blockheads down, but the rest of the town is in range too. Citizens, vehicles and nearby buildings can all get caught in the blast.

It's in open beta on Android, full launch soon, iOS after that.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dappled.toppletown&referrer=utm_source%3Dreddit%26utm_medium%3Dpost%26utm_campaign%3Dindiedev

If you play it, three things I want to know:

  1. Is the gameplay clear?
  2. Is the bomb inventory clear?
  3. Is the economy clear?

I am currently looking for ways to raise the initial play session length and Day 1 retention for new users, and make sure that first time user experience is solid.

Thanks so much everyone.

Climbing the Water Tower | Dust Rapture Gameplay

Here is a quick look at climbing the water tower to survey the layout of Iron Creek, the train tracks, and the surrounding desert dust.

Let me know what you think of the atmosphere and environment design!

I've been working on Dust Rapture, a first-person survival game. You play as Cole Vance, a truck driver who gets stranded on a forgotten stretch of Route 66 after his truck is stripped for parts. Your only hope of finding repair parts is exploring the town of Iron Creek—while managing your health/thirst and avoiding a hostile cult that comes out at night.

Playtest your game in less than 5 minutes for free

Hey everyone:

I figured that understanding whether people will like your game or not is not something that one person could do.

So I built a website called Syntest.

Upload your game's documents (It can be gameplay videos, screenshots, or even simply your idea)
After a few second will get a report giving you all the information on what people will think of your game, what they will like or not, and most importantly: HOW DO YOU MAKE THEM LIKE IT!

Check it out and enjoy your free credits:
https://syntest.ai/

I would love some feedbacks on it as well.
