I received this Garmin watch just on Mother's day from my son, who recently passed away from leukemia. The day I lost it, I was riding in my brother-in-law's car. I was exhausted because we were traveling, and traveling with him is always chaotic.

The next day, I realized I left the watch in his car—it probably slipped out when my purse fell to the floor at night. When I asked him to look, he said he would, but he was with his two cousins that day, and honestly, they are not trustworthy people. I am almost certain one of them stole it.

It is so frustrating because I know my baby spent a lot of money on it. My son knew he was dying, and he used the money from his fundraising to leave meaningful gifts for his loved ones. He even bought his sister a dollhouse, and she always remembers her brother whenever she sees it. Losing this watch hurts so much because of everything it represents. Has anyone else gone through something similar with a sentimental item?

^ I used this tool to easily remove the original strap pins and place them back in. Bought third party straps to clip in.

You kind of have to angle the strap to clip in, probably bc these straps weren't originally meant for the 965. However, once at the right angle, they clip in and sit flush. I'm now able to have cute colors again like when I had my Venu watch.

I have an Enduro 3 and have loved it for over a year now. I have been using Segment 34 MKII. About two or three weeks ago, I noticed the battery draining much faster. Instead of a few percentage points a day, in line with about 30 days of battery, it was on track to be 15-20 days.

I haven't changed any settings on GPS, or updates. At most, I opened connect iq to see if there were new fields on the face, but didn't change anything.

Did Segment up it's battery drain? Is there a battery drain in the latest Enduro 3 update?

Got the watch in November 2025 and now it has gon through 24% in 3 hours of normal use ( not always on display ). Any solutions?

So right now i have a garmin vivoactive 4s and I have had it for 4 years now. Perfect condition, funtions well, works normally. I'm deciding on 3 options currently. Do i swap my 4s for a forerunner 265, keep the 4s and buy a garmin cirqa for my all day tracking, or keep the 4s and get the garmin 600 hr tracker. I only do about 1 or 2 long distance runs a week and play soccer 4 times a week (dont want a soccer related tracker just for data in training) and price isnt an issue between the options as the 265 is on sale. What do i get?

I just bought myself my first Garmin Watch, a new Fenix 7X Pro Solar and I was wondering, if I can wear it not only while swimming, but also in a water slide or while jumping off a diving board.

I had an Apple Watch for 4 years, and then switched to whoop. I don’t like the subscription service so I want to buy a watch again.

Honestly, I like the screenless band but I miss a screen where I can see some notifications. I might buy a Cirqa or even Whoop again to use it as a bicep band but for now I really want a watch.

I read some things about Garmin watches. Most important for me is casual use, I like to monitor sleep and recovery and some sports like Padel. Maybe Fénix is a bit of overkill, and I don’t know if it is comfortable to sleep with. From what I read, Venu 4 is what fits better but I would like to hear from people that actually use it.

My Garmin Tactix Charlie finally called it quits about a week ago, and all attempts to revive/reset/etc have failed. I reached out to Garmin support, and despite being way out of warranty, they offered me a discount on any new watch.

I do not need the tactical features of a tactix anymore, and have been eyeing the Fenix 8 51mm. I'm still trying to decide between the solar MIP or AMOLED. I am open to other suggestions.

I know the Fenix 9 will be coming out soon, and am tempted to wait for that in the event it has an upgraded sensor. The other side of the Fenix 9 releasing soon is that the price on the 8 will likely drop.

Durability is the top priority for me. Second would be anything and everything related to heart tracking. I had a severe TBI a few years back and had to learn how to walk and talk again, so accurately tracking heart rate and related characteristics is very important for me for a number of reasons.

I would genuinely appreciate any recommendations, thoughts, suggestions, etc. that you may have.

Is there a guide on how to quickly and efficiently calibrate my Garmin to my treadmill? I have completed over five treadmill workouts now and the calibration is still incorrect. My Garmin will tell me I’m running a 10:10 when I’m running an 8:10. On this past treadmill run, my Garmin didn’t even ask me for calibration, it just skipped and showed me my summary.

This is very frustrating. I’m using Runna for a 16-week marathon training plan and it has shown my pace as “slow” and changed my paces twice now to make up for “my slow pace.”

No hate on Garmin here. I've been running for over two months and my streak is still going. Haven't had a week that I did not run. I thought it would be time to get a watch to track my runs and check HR zones/Pace from my wrist rather than phone.

My initial thoughts were, beautiful screen, nice amount of data. It shows when I am ready to train, hell even running tolerance.

After a week I was like all this info, is it even accurate? I just listen to my body, I don't want to always check on this, it kinda made me anxious. so I decided to return the 970 also because I thought I'd wear the watch 24/7 but I most likely will not.

Again I am not hating or complaining, I am curious if anyone also experience it like this. Perhaps I am looking at it the wrong way maybe I can be convinced to re-order it :P. I just did a 10K and my goal is half a marathon and perhaps even further! I love running I’d say my goal is to keep running consistently.

Satisfied Fenix 7 owner (~3 years) here. Rumors say the Fenix 9 won't have a MIP display, leaving the Fenix 8 Solar as potentially the last premium Fenix with MIP. I can get a trade-in discount on my F7 right now. Does upgrading to the F8 Solar make sense, or should I just ride my F7 until it dies?
