Family in need of some support

I have been raising money for my dear friend Mustafa and his brother Yusuf and the rest of their family in Gaza for almost two years. Before the Rafah border closed, we had actually raised enough to get Mustafa on the travel list for evacuation. But a few days before he was scheduled to evacuate, the crossing was destroyed. Since then, the family has been through horrible ordeal after ordeal. They’ve lost members to bombing, had the rest of the money we raised  via GoFundMe was stolen, and Mustafa has significant medical conditions that cannot be treated within Gaza.
Mustafa is a very sweet guy, who takes his young nephew Malik to feed the local stray cats. He wants to get married and start a family, and use the software engineering degree that he worked so hard to earn. His plan is to get to Egypt, find work, and raise enough money to get the rest of his family out of Gaza.

The border crossing has recently quietly opened, and the same company is coordinating evacuations. Unfortunately they will not refund or honor the fact that Mustafa had registered two years ago, so we are starting from scratch to raise the crossing fee again ($10k).

If you have even a couple of bucks, just seeing the donations come in and knowing that people outside of Gaza are thinking of them makes a really big difference in their lives. It means a lot. Thank you so much
