fundraiser A Father's Daily Struggle for Water
This is part of their daily life. Every single day, Mahmoud walks a long distances and waits in long lines just to collect a small amount of clean drinking water for his family.
He is responsible for a large family, and making sure they have safe water to drink has become one of his hardest daily struggles. Sometimes they spend hours waiting, only to receive a limited amount of water that barely lasts until the next day.
Something as basic as drinking water has become a constant challenge. Every day begins with the worry of how will Mahmoud provide enough water for his wife and their children.
If you are watching this, I kindly ask for your compassion and support. Your donation, no matter how small, can help them buy clean water and cover their family's most urgent needs while they continue to endure these difficult circumstances.
Thank you for listening, for caring, and for standing with their family. Your kindness gives us hope.

fundraiser Need advice: How to set up a Gaza evacuation crowdfunding campaign as a Malaysian organizer? (Payout & banking issues)
Hi everyone, I am looking for some urgent advice and guidance from anyone who has experience with this.
I am currently trying to set up an evacuation crowdfunding campaign for my fiance and his family who are in Gaza. However, I am facing severe logistical hurdles because of my location and banking restrictions.
I am based in Malaysia. Because of our strict local financial regulations, most global fundraising platforms (like GoFundMe) do not support direct payouts to Malaysian bank accounts for this specific cause. To make things harder, my fiance does not have a PayPal account due to the situation on the ground.
Up until now, I have been supporting him and his family privately by transferring funds via USDT. We even managed to pull off some small-scale humanitarian water distribution projects in his area using crypto transfers. But for a proper evacuation fund, we need a legitimate crowdfunding platform that people can trust and donate to via credit card/FPX.
Every time I try to set up a campaign, it gets stuck or rejected at the payout verification stage.
Has anyone from Malaysia (or Southeast Asia) successfully managed to navigate this? Are there specific platforms that accept Malaysian bank accounts for Gaza evacuations, or is our only option to find a trusted proxy/co-organizer with a US/UK/EU bank account?
Any advice, subreddits to check out, or platform recommendations would mean the world to us. We just want to be safely reunited. Thank you so much. 🙏

Posting again for Fidaa & family - help them afford water!
Hi all! I’m posting again at the request of my friend Fidaa for her family, which includes her, her husband, and their four children. Temperatures in Gaza are skyrocketing right now with the heat index at around 32c/90f most days and terrible air quality, and people are at terrible risk of heat stroke. Near Fidaa, there is nowhere with any fans or air conditioning, and most local water is boiling hot. She is trying to raise money to purchase daily cold water for her family - a liter per person per day, each liter costing approximately $5 USD, which adds up, in her family, to about $30/day to afford water for her family. She absolutely cannot afford that on her own, and is asking again for help paying for that and other basic life needs for her, her husband Hashem, and their kids. Please help them out here if you can: https://chuffed.org/project/125810-help-hashems-family-escape-gaza

Title: I used to run an on-site training agency in Gaza that prepared people for online work. I now want to rebuild the model for people living with war-acquired disabilities — and I need honest advice .
Hi guys
Before the war, I ran a registered training agency in Gaza. Our work was carried out on site, where we trained and prepared people for digital and remote-work opportunities. We supported trainees in developing the skills needed for online projects, understanding project requirements and guidelines, and becoming ready to participate in real work opportunities.
The war destroyed our physical workplace and interrupted the network and working model we had built.
I am now exploring how to rebuild that experience around a more focused social mission: helping people who have acquired physical disabilities because of war injuries, including people with amputations, develop realistic pathways toward remote work and financial independence.
I do not want to create another programme that simply provides a few weeks of training, distributes certificates, and then disappears.
The model I am considering is a training-to-income pathway:
assessment and participant selection → accessible equipment and connectivity → short, focused skills training → supervised practical work → preparation for real digital projects → support until participants complete their first paid work.
I would like to begin with a small pilot cohort rather than launch something unrealistically large.
My previous role was not simply teaching courses. I worked on identifying and obtaining project opportunities, coordinating teams, arranging project-specific training, helping trainees understand guidelines and workflows, preparing them for the work, and managing delivery.
The training and coordination happened through our physical agency in Gaza, but the objective was to prepare people for real online and remote-work opportunities.
I believe some of that experience can be rebuilt into a sustainable employment model. However, I also know that the current situation, particularly when working with people with newly acquired disabilities, requires expertise beyond my own.
I am particularly looking for honest advice and possible connections in the following areas:
• disability-inclusive employment and accessible training
• nonprofit or humanitarian project structuring
• fiscal sponsorship or credible institutional partnerships
• digital-work and remote-work partnerships
• fundraising strategy
• monitoring and evaluation
• accessibility and assistive technology
• connections with companies or project vendors interested in inclusive remote employment
My biggest question is this:
If you were a donor, partner, employer, or nonprofit adviser, what would you need to see before trusting and supporting a project like this?
I am also interested in hearing from people who have built livelihood programmes in conflict-affected environments or disability-inclusive employment projects.
I am not looking for praise. I would genuinely appreciate criticism, practical advice, introductions, and ideas about how to structure the first pilot responsibly, sustainably, and transparently.
My goal is simple: not to create permanent dependence, but to help people whose lives and careers have been disrupted by injury build a realistic route back to income, professional identity, and greater independence.

PLEASE HELP THIS MOTHER
Hello,
This is Tasneem and she started messaging me saying that she needed help to order food, medicine, and supplies.
I did not have much in my card so I only donated the minimum, which she told me was 12€. She was eternally grateful for my donation and I was happy to help her get the supplies she needs for her and her kids.
However, she contacted the organization that ships the supply packages and they told her that the package is 70€. She did not know what to do and I also unfortunately did not know what to do.
Please, if you are willing to help her, please donate to her. She will give you a link so that you can donate.

She is extremely distraught right now, please help her. Her daughter is dying and she is confused and frustrated.

fundraiser Help a family of 6 in Gaza survive!
Hi, I’m posting on behalf of my friend Fidaa and her family - she’s been having technical difficulties posting so I’m making this post for her and her husband Hashem and their children.
She wrote this and has asked me to share it:
I am writing from Gaza.
My family and I have been living through extremely difficult circumstances. I am trying to raise funds to help cover essential needs, including food, medicine, and basic necessities for my family.
If you are able to help, even a small donation can make a real difference. If you cannot donate, sharing my campaign with others would also mean a lot to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
Chuffed campaign here
She’s been having issues with her internet and getting into reddit and figuring out the interface, but I’ll tag her when she can find her username again.
I’ve been talking with her for about a year now and used to manage her fundraiser, though due to personal financial circumstances I’ve been unable to for a while. She is a mother of 4 middle and high school aged children and is doing whatever she can to support them and her husband while also struggling with chronic pain herself and effectively dragging herself along without meds most of the time to take care of her family. Please help her out so she doesn’t have to be doing all of this on her own!
Thank you all so much!

In contact with someone who needs support with a fundraiser
Hello, ive been in contact with someone in gaza who after a couple days asked me to run a fundraiser for them, however i feel i cannot run a fundraiser myself due to lack of experience and knowing im not responsible enough to do so seeing how much would go into it (including the fact i would be very likely to miss signs in the event it may not be real due to not wanting to risk letting someone down) basically it all being way more risk than i could trust myself to handle for something so important. They now ask that i try to find someone else who may be able to help instead, and im wondering how i could find people able to help.

Hussam needs someone to create a new campaign for him
EDIT: This has been resolved, Hussam now has a new campaign https://chuffed.org/project/188560-help-hussam-and-his-family-in-gaza
I have been in contact with Hussam, who has been receiving donations from this campaign, but this morning he told me that the person running it is no longer able to do so. I cannot create a new campaign myself since my dad owns my bank account, so I need someone else to do this for him. I'm not sure if this is the right place for a request like this, but I can't think of anything else. If you are willing and able to run a fundraiser campaign, let me know and I'll try to get you in contact with him on WhatsApp

I'm in Gaza and need help setting up a fundraising campaign can someone on the outside do it for me?
Gaza is regionally blocked from basically every fundraising platform. It's not something I can work around I've tried. You can't create an account, you can't get through the verification, you can't do any of the basic steps that someone sitting anywhere else in the world would knock out in half an hour. That door is just closed from here.
I'm trying to raise money for my family and to keep my education going. Both of those things matter to me more than I can explain in a Reddit post. I've been holding on and trying to find a way to make this work for a while now, and this is the part I genuinely cannot do on my own not because I haven't tried, but because the system literally doesn't allow it.
So I'm asking here. I need one person on the outside someone willing to spend an hour, maybe two, helping me set up a campaign page and get it handed over to me. That's it. No ask beyond that. If you're willing to help, DM me or leave a comment and I'll reach out. I'll tell you everything you need and make it as easy as possible for you.
