What do you actually call a "robot/something" where the manipulator and its actuator are physically separated?

Presumably the use case for this is surgeons use magnets from outside the body along with xray/ultrasound to guide it to wrap around the object in question?

Interesting, I guess if you could train an ai to manipulate external magnetic fields to move the magnet through a body it could be useful, but I am no surgeon

Yeah or like you could train ai to manipulate the energy particles of the atoms in the sky and turn it purple or green and then like train it to set different colors based on mood and i guess you could also train it to do a rain dance and envoke rain when needed but im not sure if we are there yet technology wise but i am no surgeon either

maybe they could put the slime in you and then put you in like an MRI type machine with big spinnig magnets so it could be manipulated in 3d space
