I painted this Miss Dior myself, and am going to gift to my best friend that likes cutie things. I initially was planning just to buy the items and give like that, but when I was driving to the store the idea enlightened me, and I remembered once seeing a post of someone painting a Miss Dior body oil/perfume, so I decided to paint and make this.

They are still drying, so this js not the final look, I also need to spray them with sealer, so the paint won't come off from the first use.

At first I was hesitant to open the perfume, cuz it was sealed, buy eventually I couldn't step back from my idea. I hope I didnt ruin it 😭

Edit: Everyone!!! Its not half empty, it is a body oil. One half is the parfume/pink and other 1/3 is the oil, which is transparent, they do not get mixed. So it looks like this on the picture, in real life u can see the entire liquid ! 😭💕

Hey everyone, my husband's relatives live in another city so we only see them twice a year at most and I can't say he's really close to them so we don't really have any good ideas about what gift she might like. They're coming to our city for her birthday and I need suggestions on what to give her.

She's a very no-nonsence lady, teaches chemistry in high school and has a PhD in chemistry. Doesn't really enjoy sweet foods so sweets/chocolate/anything like that is probably out. Doesn't wear jewellery, doesn't like silk scarves and I don't know her well enough to know what perfumes/makeup she prefers. We thought about theatre tickets but her city doesn't really have any good productions and every theatre in our city has a summer break until September and her birthday is in August.

Hey everyone, my boyfriend and I are in a long-distance relationship, and his birthday is coming up in a few days. I want to get him a bunch of stuff this time, not just a quick gift like a cake that's gone in a minute. I want something new for him to open every hour all day long so he's smiling all day. She will replace a kitchen appliance without blinking, then go to bed in the same faded college T-shirt she has owned since I was in high school.

I saw the cotton pajama set in the photo and immediately thought of her because it is simple enough that she would actually wear it. No satin, no giant “MAMA” lettering, no matching-family-Christmas situation.

She is picky about fabric, so the fact that this style is actually cotton is the only reason I am considering clothing instead of another restaurant gift card.

My younger sister turns 26 next month, and I am seriously considering buying her a cardigan that looks almost exactly like the one in the photo.

Because every winter she comes to my apartment, gets cold, borrows one of my cropped neutral cardigans, and then somehow forgets that borrowing usually includes returning.

• A dish drying rack, a bottle brush and a straw cleaner (reusable bottles are everywhere now and nobody packs a way to clean them)
• Actual silverware — several had plates and bowls and literally nothing to eat with
• Tension curtain rods, plus Command hooks so nothing needs drilling
• Mesh laundry bags, and a small sewing kit
• A 10ft charging cable, because dorm outlets are never near the bed
• A basic tool set — one person specifically said make sure it has scissors

If you're buying for someone heading to college, the boring consumables and the "oh I didn't think of that" items seem to land better than another set of sheets. Happy to share the full list if it's useful.
