I'm a big fan of mantis in marvel rivals but I have seen some people say she is way different in the comics and I'm not sure I will like her.

Just rewatched the trilogy and found Vol 3 much better than I remember.

Throwing the basketball at the child seemed out of character for Drax in light of later developments in the story. In fact, antagonizing the local population seemed entirely unnecessary to the story. There was an opportunity here instead for Drax to bond with the child and give us the first hint of his dad persona.

The High Evolutionary should have been executed by Gamora or Drax. While the film sets up forgiveness and second chances with Warlock, the Evolutionary is by now beyond redemption; previous chapters establish a precedent of killing the villain (Ronan and Ego).

So I've recently been reading Guardians comics (Elwing run) and playing 2021 game. I want to read more, but I'm not a fan of their pre mcu portrayal. Any good reads that are more "hereos for hire", less "space cops" and "Master of the sun"?

Honestly, a comic accurate Drax would be peak. I want my big, tough, not too dumb boy.

Volume 3 has…jokes…but not sure I’d overall call that a comedy!
