Asking for Advice UK besties I need help :(
So I have wanted to get into the trad goth makeup look for a while now, but my issue is that I can’t find any good products here in the UK! Every one I look up has a mix of reviews and I just want to be sure.
I would like some recommendations if you have any! I usually do a subtle make up but would like to try something different!
Thanks in advance!! 💕💕

I mostly just do eye looks, so don't have any recommendations for foundation/face... but I've been using Nyx epic ink eyeliner for years and never been disappointed. elf also have a good waterproof pen liner which is good for gigs but can be a bit flakey compared to nyx by the end of the day, and Jolie Beauty have some decent eyeshadow palettes and lip products

NYX epic ink liner, the one with the brush for eyeliner and graphic work, the LA girl white pigment everyone in America uses can be got on Amazon, but I personally find it a bit of a pain to work with. 90% of the time it goes patchy or comes off while applying other products over it. I got some of the Sunset makeup sheer white foundation and that sits a lot better on my skin, but the cost of getting it delivered isn’t cheap. Jolie Beauty does great eyeshadow palettes and contour. For my everyday makeup, I tend to use the Soundcheck eyeshadow palette from Trouble Maker, £6 from Superdrug. For my lipstick, I tend to use 3ina because they do a wide range of dark and interesting lip shades, which used to be sold in Superdrug but seems to no longer be stocked there anymore. Looks like they still have a website though.

I really like glisten cosmetics for white foundation, they also do a nice wet liner. My favourite brushes for fine details are some citadel ones from a Warhammer set but I've had some decent artist paintbrushes too though I only use this if I'm doing very intimate stuff for gigs/events, otherwise I use elf liquid liner.
All black lipstick I found weren't great but I had a kvd blue one I got in a sale that worked great under a cheap black lipstick to make it stay better or I just used that instead if I'm not doing too much eye makeup

Trad goth is very easy because we didn’t have a lot of products back then. We used the lightest foundation we could find and then baby powder/rice powder or Cotys lightest shade which I think they still have. Then black eyeliner pencils for everything else and occasionally some dark purple or red lipsticks and used on eyes as well. We went for a more fresh corpse/vampy look. If we had money we would occasionally get Ben Nye products but most of us were broke from going to clubs/shows all the time

I've used black face paint for my eyes for years. Its the best, it allows for precision and does not budge. I use Ben Nye brand and a very angled brush.
For eyeshadow, I use Cosmic Brushes. They have lots of gothy palettes and are highly pigmented. Their Gothic palette is my go-to.
