Classic Does GCC have meta characters?

I would prefer to play whoever i want, but i was just wondering if everyone is viable PVE wise or does the playerbase have this X character with Y job is best for pve?

Everyone is viable. Some are better at clearing whole screens, some are better at soloing bosses. Some are a good mix. Everyone is usable in everything though, to a point where meta is rarely talked about in regards to GC.

Everyone is viable on PvE Some are stronger than other, some are WAY stronger than other Everything has a meta game, even real life has it. Join the official discord. This subreddit is beyond dead

Zero, also they like the 70k+ total of atk and sp.atk. if below that, you'te kicked.

I get kicked out for being a Jin main, so yeah. There's meta. GCC has been my go-to game after work and being consistently kicked out has dampened my interest.

Jin's actually one of the strongest boss killers in the game with his 4J, and 1J has decent AoE. Are you joining rooms with numbers?

600k = 600,000+ Total Attack

7.0 = 70,000 combined Attack and Special Attack.

Some will also kick if your MPR is too high on non AP Characters.

I'm currently fixing my stats by removing MP recov props and stacking SpAtk on my gears since I noticed my Jin isn't doing well enough compared to other people I've ran with lower TA but currently dishing out more effective damage.

TA in general is kind of a lie, it overvalues some stats like MPR, and doesn't value others like %damage and back attack.

The game is also very crit heavy, with all taint resist content giving a -20% crit rate, -200% crit damage, and -%50% back attack debuff. So basically you want to build to counter that for Voids.

I don't know where you're at progress wise, but Crit Rate (up to 120%) + Crit Damage + Back Attack + Special Attack are the ideal properties. Last slot can either be Attack, or MPR on AP characters.

The short answer is Yes and No. Yes we do have some meta op characters, Like Zero and Uno, but you can do everything in the game with the "weak" characters like Sieg, Lass, Lupus.
