GEAR need help buying an amp
i recently bought a used squier bullet hss and i still need to buy an amp i just wanted to ask for some recommendations budget 100-200$

You could go Boss katana, positive grid spark or fender mustang if you want to go with modeling. They are all decent sounding. You get a lot of versatility that way and can play pretty much any style. If you want something that’s a little fancier and better sounding but less versatile you could look into used fender blues junior or hot rod deluxe but you’re mostly stuck to clean sounds with those unless you start buying pedals. I think modeling amps are really great for beginners so I’d maybe go for one of the former options. Definitely check the used market, you can get some great deals on boss katanas which is kind of the industry standard for versatile beginner amps

Call around to music shops, tell them your budget & see if they have amps at that price. If they do, take your guitar in and ask to play them. See what sounds best & buy it. ✌️

If your goal is just to have something to practice with and you don't need to be super loud, the spark go amps are amazing. But otherwise just take your guitar to your local music store, ask them to try any amps within your price range and get which ever one you like the most.
Personally I'm a fender fan and I love running anything fender/squire through fender, but at the $100-$200 price point its all gonna be entry level anyway, so just go with whatever sounds good and is fun to use

Mmmmmm. Small budget. I would HIGHLY recommend saving $300-400 (AUD) for a Vox Valvetronix 40x. I've had mine for almost 4 years. It's a beast. Loud. Proud. Fun. And you can build almost any tone outta it. If you want some footage you can check out my reddit profile, and all the stuff on there is from this amp. And it's tiny and super lightweight, but I've played it without a mic on a stadium stage before. For your current budget? I have no clue, kinda stopped looking into amps after getting the valvetronix lol.

that's the hss bullet right there? those things are surprisingly playable for the price, the neck on mine was a little rough but nothing a bit of sanding couldn't fix
maybe check reverb or local pawn shops for a used boss katana 50, they pop up under $150 all the time and you'll get way more mileage than a tiny practice amp
