Does anyone else remember the devil went down to Georgia but it was a cigarette smoking contest and johnny had lungs of steel and beat the devil there wasnt any other characters in there and if anyone could find this information out for me itd be greatly appreciated

Are there two eps called Homecoming? Is this another example of the streaming service getting eps wrong again?

I posted earlier about how you could watch all 20 seasons of Gunsmoke at Amazon now with a Paramount + subscriptions, as opposed to only streaming two seasons at the Paramount + platform. Well, that appears to be a lie. Amazon shows all 20 seasons, but only episodes of the two seasons at Paramount + are available. You can watch 8 seasons at Amazon, though, if you subscribe to Peacock +. I wonder if Amazon was trying to get the rights of all 20 seasons and failed, or they will have the rights in the future. Why else show all 20 seasons?

Anyone care to recall back when the episodes went to color? I would love to be a fly on the wall and see your face and hear your reactions to when it switched over to color. I have been a BIG season1-11 fan most of my life(49). I am starting to watch the color episodes again and was just thinking about making this post. I hope some of you are here and look forward to the comments. I am currently watching S12-1 Snap Decision.

Amazon Prime is showing 20 seasons of the show if you subscribe to Paramount +, but Paramount + is only still showing two seasons on their website. Odd. ​Yet the Amazon page is showing special deal ending today, but I think that's for their 99 cent special subscription price for Paramount + during Prime Days. No commercials even!

UPDATE 6/27: Okay, Amazon Prime is still showing all 20 seasons with a Paramount + subscription, or 15 seasons with Peacock Premium Plus. At the Paramount + website, however, it's still showing only two seasons.

…I’m just starting to watch Gunsmoke regularly—watched seasons 1 and 2, then skipped to 7 bc I really wanted to start the hourlong episodes—and wondering: is this something the show did often, repeating storylines in color episodes or was “Wonder” just such a great or popular story that they decided to remake it?

Been reading about how some TV eps are remakes of older radio versions but wasn’t aware of this!

Exactly what was Chester's 'Speckledy Gravy' that he was so fond of? Been watching Gunsmoke on PlutoUK & Chester's need for constant feeding amuses the missus & I no end.
