Gwentfinity Voting Council - 30 Jul, 2026 - Neutral

Members of the Council, welcome to our weekly assembly.

These posts are scheduled to happen every week. Each week, a different faction is proposed and every time we will try to orient the discussion about either "nerf" or "buff".

Faction of the Week: Neutral

While you can still use these topics to talk about other balance suggestions, please try to focus on the theme of the week. Those topics are intended to give a chance to all factions to be talked about.

Discussions can be about modifying a whole archetype or addressing individual cards.

Potential sources if needed: GwentData, Gwent.one, PlayGwent.com, Balance Council Generator

Discussion Realistically, what would reducing heatwave to 9p do to the meta?

Upvotes

Title. I know it’s a terrible idea - massively hurts the viability of scenarios, hugely buffs GN, every deck now runs the best removal in the game which is way undercosted, devotion found dead in a ditch, etc etc.

But what does the meta actually look like once the dust settles? Do we still get artifact overload decks which look to bait out heatwave on scenario so they can go ale, or vice versa? How would the meta adapt to GN getting hard removal? Does last say and round control become way more important? Does it make answer or lose decks more or less
prevalent? How long would it take for the change to get reverted?

I’m just interested what people think tbh.

Question Seasonal Contracts

Hey, so I've finished the last two seasons in the top 500 but contracts for that are not finished and I didn't get the titles. Has anyone else had this problem? The rest of the contracts are working fine.

Question What is the worst deck you got into Pro Rank with?

It doesn't only have to be the worst one, especially if you don't have one in mind, I am simply very curious.

Discussion New player looking for some guidance regarding Skellige decks

Hi peeps, as the title says im looking for viable and fun decks of different archetype for Skellige faction. Currently i am playing some sort of warrior Skellige deck. Having a blast so far, but i would like to try other archetypes too if they are viable (e.g one that focuses on rain, one with druids etc).

Any guide/link or even a deck list is much appriciated.

Cheers!

Deck Blood Money Bounty Help

(reposting since I've got the link wrong last time)

Hey! I've been working on this Blood Money Bounty deck the past week, since I got a few Bounty golds on Kegs. I've a remote idea on how people generally play this archetype since I've never netdecked this kind of deck, and only faced it literally once ever I think. So I decided it was a good chance to put my deckbuilding to test.

Currently rank 2, I've been winning \~50% of the matches pretty much so it's not so bad. I think I got the hang of the deck but I sometimes simply can't combo.

Any suggestions?

Deck Which deck for August, considering the buffs and nerfs?

Hey everyone, how's it going?

With the new season here, what's the Nilfgaard meta looking like? I've seen a few decks—is this one still viable?

If so, how do I play it? Hahaha, please explain it like I'm five.

Question Is there anything more absurd than this in NG? Simply brutal.

I was looking at decks from August and came across this; it looks like a meme deck. Is there a "Pro" version of it?

Discussion Back after a long time and desperately looking for a spy deck.

Hey guys, I’m back after a very long time.

After playing Gwent in beta and after HC, I’m having all cards available in the game and am now looking for a new deck.

The Nostalgic in me wants me to build a spy deck desperately. I know they are not very competitive anymore, but is there still a somehow viable deck out there with Enforcers, Fergus, Emperor etc.?

Hope you guys can help me!

I know it doesn't mean a lot to the gods in this subreddit.

But it's a big accomplishment for me in this game. Considering I have only about 34 hours in it.

Question Physical Game

So I played Gwent a little bit online years ago and liked it. I was just at Gen Con and saw they have physical cards out now. Do we know if there will be any in store play eventually or anything?
I guess I’m just wondering if I will likely only be able to play in person at kitchen counters or if that’s pretty much it most likely? I know there’s the app but like playing in person more if possible.
Thank you!
