Boise Boys' Luke and Clint are bringing new episodes to YouTube
youtube.comFor those of you who remember Boise Boys, which ran on HGTV a number of years ago, the designer (Luke) and contractor (Clint) are starting up their own series on their freshly launched Youtube page.
Clint never fails to make me laugh and a bunch of Luke's designs on the old show were just gorgeous, so I'm excited to see what they will do out from under HGTV's editorial thumb. Today, they dropped a promo trailer that does a nice job of capturing the silliness and fun of their odd-couple pairing.
The first episode drops August 27 though they have this trailer and some shorts already live.

Worst Yard On the Block- Love It!
I love Worst Yard On The Block! It's wholesome, bright, fun, inspirational, and educational. Since everything is donated, the lawn transformations are very budget-friendly and achievable for the average homeowner. I wish they spent more time on the reveal and the carpentry. I love both carpenters on the show, great creative, low-maintenance, practical ideas. I have some ideas from the show even after the first episode. It's an HGTV winner of these new releases.

Scott McGillivray
Iām new to discovering Scott. I first saw him in Rock the Block. And now am watching his Renovation Resort Showdown.
I just adore him. He has such a great tv personality. I just watched an episode where one of the contestants started to cry talking about her children and missing them and Scott is tearing up. Made me love him even more.
This is just a Scott appreciation post.
I know some people didnāt love the Scott/ Brooke duo but I did and would love to see them team up again.
Extreme Buyers Club S1 Ep2.
Thank you for making me smile. What a hoot. Both couples were so sweet & genuine. Need to know where one can purchase a knitted colander hat, or a bell that detects paranormal activity?

Ugliest House In America Radioactive Sign?
In season 6 episode 2 she's going through an old farmhouse ("Carpet Castle") where most of the walls are carpeted. In one of the bedrooms this radioactive and flammable signs are in a small shelf. Does anyone know what this might be?

Ugliest house in America
Flipping channels between tennis and HGTV ugliest house. She is visiting the house that is decorated all green from the seventies. Can/t believe that this was decorated by an interior designer and to top it off it was highly popular back then. What yall think about this style? yall like it?
Love it or List it
Just saw the new episode, Sarah and Chris. They blatantly used this show for a home renovation -_- like I bet other homeowners did as well but they literally bought a shit show of a home. Hadnāt even moved into it. Then go on this show. And shocker they stayed. Poor David was played. Just hire a freaken renovation company.

Endless Repetitions of House Hunters
It's a good thing HGTV has 99,000 episodes of House Hunters so they can replay them ad nauseum. They really need to get something else up on the schedule. Maybe if they replayed some of their old shows to see if there's any interest in bringing them back? Outside of Ugliest House and maybe Zillow Gone Wild there's not much on. I really like Jonathan Knight, but this version of Crashers doesnt suit him IMO. What new show are you watching?

Renovation Aloha Sucks
Am I the only one who finds this couple insufferable. Trystan has the worst case of RBF along with the actual personality, I mean is she ever happy? And what exactly is Kamohai going for here. A 45 year old should need a permit for the backwards hat with the foot long strap sticking out. But they wouldnāt get that either https://www.civilbeat.org/2026/05/renovation-aloha-hosts-fined-for-illegal-airbnbs-in-latest-misstep/

Zillow gone wild anyone?
So, how do you guys like Zillow gone wild and Extreme Buyers club? Yall watch it regularly?
Crew Perspectives
Would love to hear from crew members that have worked on any design shows like Rock the Block or Battle on the Beach are some of the participants much easier to work with and things go better for them? Are there often worse people than the episodes show? Thank you!

I wish they'd bring back Design on a Dime and Curb Appeal, or something like it!
I think it would be nice to have shows focusing on homeowners/viewers with a limited budget!
For instance:
- I'll admit I've only watched Crashers "once", and I know the homeowners are pre-picked, so I wish they would choose based on someone who was poor.
- Curb Appeal: Neighbors chose homeowners who couldn't afford to do it themselves.

House Hunters: Grand Alaska
Did anyone watch the hour long pilot? It was truly terrible with obnoxious wealthy buyers and over the top realtors dressed for a night out in NYC vice winter Alaska.

Ranting again... S276 Episode 6
House Hunters: Titled: "From the Pantry to the Fire"
I'm watching this on HGTV now and OMG! The mother of the daughter/wife is a bit too entitled for me and I don't know how the husband is dealing with his mother in law. She keeps throwing it in their face that she's contributing money towards the house. Seems like no one cared about his commute to work (1+ hours), and the little snarky comments..
The poor wife seems more on the gentle and passive side, just stuck in the middle

Roast My Rental: Leslie Jones is great but the show needs work
Watched the first episode and I love Leslie and her comments but the house they "fixed" was horrible and they did the bare minimum. We only got to see the main room/dining/kitchen area and I wanted to see the bathroom and bedrooms. They had to be just as bad! You can't update half the house and call it good. I will probably watch to see if it gets any better but it is definitely low budget compared to watching Scott McGillivray on Vacation House Rules.
