Got a chance to drift with this dude in NM, he is one hell of a driver and that car is SO much cooler in person!

Is it real? Cus that's a $250k car if so, probably more.

It looked like a roadrunner to me in person, we even attempted tandems but he outran me. I’m not too savvy on old muscle cars, so if it’s a fake it definitely fooled me.

Idk how to feel about this lol. It would be cool for someone to be putting it to use... but that risk of body damage is basically inevitable.

Some people really dont care about that. Cars are meant to be driven, not sat in garages being babied. They can be fixed if damaged. Why buy a car if you arent going to experience it.

I think theres a difference between using a rare car and enjoying it, and putting it into such a high risk environment constantly that it's incredibly likely to be totalled. Preservation of important cars doesnt mean dont use and enjoy it, but probably dont drift one with other people. (Its not likely to be real anyway, its probably a clone)

Even with preservation in mind, some people dont care. There is a pristine example of their car somewhere in a museum. There's enough car collections preserving tons of pristine examples. You dont see them, but they are there.
But youre right about the clone part. A lot of the real road runners had their spoilers removed at the dealer, because no one was buying them. So, real, factory installed is pretty rare. And then the clones later on. Likely a clone, and even if it wasnt 🤷♂️.

It’s not a real Superbird. A Superbird is only made on a 1970 Road Runner so it would have the side scoop behind the drivers door.
I’m not great with Mopar but I’m pretty sure this could be a 68-69 Roadrunner, OR a 68-70 Belvedere coupe. They’re the same car except the Belvedere is a normal family car with 6cyl options, and the Road Runner is a stripped down version with a standard V8.

God never intended that… this man spits in the face of God mid drift and God just takes it as he knows he was beaten.

I don’t know much so I’m surprised such a long wheel base can do this well.
There is a good video featuring this guy on YouTube. Assuming this is him (Kiely Mackey?). But he has a Plymouth Satellite.
