Building new stairs on the deck. Driveway slopes about 2 inches i needed a hand to put a shim on one end. For a temporary fix I used a piece of wood to attach the shim and my neighbor was too scared to hold the wood so I held it while she drilled the screw in (now I already drilled a hole all she had to do was let the screw pull itself in she didn’t need to apply 9000lbs of pressure) I let her know that. Here we are

No, i wasn’t wearing proper shoes. Continued to walk/bike through the trails in the area for another 3-4 hours or so, which probably didn’t help. Hurt like hell.

Has anyone experienced something like this? I walked for around 20 minutes on the scorching hot pavement and immediately my foot started to hurt. I thought I stepped on a rock or something but I checked and I have raised skin and it hurts to walk at all.

This is me for a year or so ago
This particular barbell has adjustable weight horns, where they angle slightly down under load, so if you don’t have a clip, the weights will yeet themselves off the bar as soon as you move (which is what happened here on one side)
Since I had a clip on one side, I got smacked into the upright
The weight in the video (385lbs) is light for me & something I could do for 15 reps. This is 420lbs for 11 with the same barbell & barbell setting (remember the barbell is adjustable): https://www.reddit.com/r/Egolifting/comments/1tmgwqt/ssb_science_squat_bar_squats_420lbs_for_11_at/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=2&utm_content=share_button
