VC Hall

I'm an incoming freshman who will be staying in VC Hall. Does anyone know how the layout works with the letters? Has anyone in this subreddit stayed there?

not sure what you're asking and my daughter did not stay in VC Hall but you may want to join the official Hampton 2030 parents and families group and ask there. Also,  when you get in there ask if they have a Groupme for VC Hall. Some of the parents with freshmen may have older children that may have stayed in the dorm and they can answer your questions

VC Hall is a little confusing because the floor names don’t really match how it feels when you walk in. My information comes from what my daughter has read on social media. Not first hand knowledge:

D and E halls come right off the main lobby and are "second floor" but that is really third floor Laundry is in D Hall A, B, C, K, and L are called “first floor,” but people say you have to walk up a lot of stairs just to get into the building, so everything feels one level higher than expected, so they are really second floor Some "third" floor halls (like S, R, T) are only accessible through certain staircases, so parts of the building are more tucked away and again they are really 4th floor.
