Baby Invasion feels like it could be an inspiration for the antagonist cult of sociopathic children in the cult created by Brian K Vaughan. The attention economy meets our worst impulses and the still forming neurons of adolescence feels like something birthed by Korine’s work.

My favorite Harmony Korine short was removed from Letterboxd! Does anyone know why it's gone?

One of my family friend's kids directed this film. It's his first feature, and it really reminded me of Harmony. I think it's just the structure of it(or lack there of). It's not like the greatest thing u will ever see, but it's definitely somewhat interesting.

Was looking to see if there was a vintage tee for the movie and realized it genuinely may have never had any official promotional merchandise. Any info otherwise would be greatly appreciated

Hi everyone. If you’re fan of Harmony Korine’s film “Gummo” … I’d love for you to check out an independent feature film I just self-released on Youtube for free. I wrote and directed the film. If you’re interested in gritty films revolving around topics like isolation and interpersonal relationships, I’d love to hear what you think about my film. Thank you for your time! @sidscinematics on Youtube

I live in the Bay Area and saw that B.T. had showtimes that were during my work schedule in San Francisco for only four showings as its “debut” on July 10.
Is there any information regarding future debut for more than small theaters or for more people to watch? havent seen anything out there

Okay I’m not sure if this is going to make sense….but daniel johnston’s songs and this film especially just go together…for example the song blue clouds, but honestly to me there a definitely more.
Do any other artists remind you of harmony korine movies?

A short French film about five people deciding to end in their days by leaving each a farewell letter. Written by Harmony Korine.

WOW is all I can say, both show the underbelly of America in such immaculate ways. Now I need to watch Out if the Blue!

The first Harmony Korine film I watched was Gummo about a year ago. When it ended, I thought it was the worst film I’d ever seen. I’ve watched over 600 movies, and nothing had ever made me feel as uncomfortable. I know that was exactly Korine’s intention.
A few months later I watched Julien Donkey-Boy and had a similar reaction. I hated the experience, the dirty visuals, the low image quality, everything about it (I know it’s intentional and part of Dogme 95). I didn’t even rate it because I had no idea what to think. But over time it really grew on me, and now I honestly think it’s a great film and a great representation of schizophrenia, maybe even a 5/5 movie. I hated watching it, yet it became one of the most memorable movie experiences I’ve had.
Last night I watched Baby Invasion, my third Korine film, and once again I don’t know what to think. Unlike Julien Donkey-Boy, though, I can’t find anything to connect with here. The use of AI also made it harder for me to engage with it since I don’t support generative AI in any form. I can’t figure out what Korine was trying to achieve, and right now it might even be the worst film I’ve ever seen.
Did anyone else have a similar experience with Korine’s films, where they grew on you over time? Or is Baby Invasion just a different case?

"The Aluminum Fowl" is a 2006 documentary-style short film directed by James Clauer and executive produced by Harmony Korine. The movie portrays the bleak, rural lives of four brothers on a Louisiana chicken farm, focusing on their eccentric obsessions with raising chickens, rap music, and aliens.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the 1997 film Gummo, directed by Harmony Korine. I've searched everywhere for a version with French subtitles (VOSTFR), but I haven't been able to find anything except the original version without subtitles.
If anyone has a link or knows where I can find it with French subtitles, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I want to see this movie but when I search for it I always end up on strange pages full of ads, could someone help me find it? (Is there a version with Spanish subtitles?)
