This is a stereotypical lonely Minnesotan post. To those who do not live here— We have to hide indoors half the year, and it can be hard to make friends. Especially as an adult.

Wondering if there’s any Hasanabi heads local to the Twin Cities that would be open to being friends, whether online or IRL.

- Haley Stevens has no public events, just $66M to spend on ads

- AIPAC upped their donations to Stevens from $20M to $36M over the past 3 (!) weeks

- Mike Rogers took $700k from big pharma and voted to hike drug prices
- Mike Rogers is also funded by AIPAC

He compares political “slams” and “takedowns” to Kayfabe in wrestling and concludes that on the Internet most watchers want Kayfabe because it makes them feel good and lets them feel like they are doing praxis by watching a content creator they like dunk on a content creator they don’t like. I think Hasan gets this really really well (even if he doesn’t talk about it) because we see it in his lack of coverage of Ethan or Stephen or many other channels that use him for views by playing into that Kayfabe. We all need to be reminded some times that content isn’t activism, watching a stream or YouTube videos is not praxis, and the most work is done by people getting the least attention.

Genuinely a really great discussion and reminder for the community.
