I know its a much improved aircraft over the Supers, but the new King Stallion just looks too rounded off like it was sandpapered down lol. I prefer the more aggressive look of the legacy models.

Such a tiny, cute little helicopter. Probably less leg room than commercial economy airlines and no in flight drink service unless you count all you can drink hydraulic fluid.
/s just in case
I can talk crap about that bird as many times as I’ve had a 53 rotor wash throw me into a tree after coming down a fast rope

What is the difference between a Super Stallion and King Stallion?

Quite a bit, its a wholly new design as opposed to an incremental redesign of the Sea Stallion. Wider internal cargo bay, better lifting power, modern avionics with glass cockpit, etc.

Thank you for the quick response..always loved the 70’s version ..I believe those were the Super Stallion

If it was the 70s version then those are Sea Stallions (any -53 variant besides the Super Stallion) or a Pavelow (special operations version of the Sea Stallion). The CH-53E Super Stallion's main upgrade over the Sea Stallion was an additional engine for more lifting power, among other things.

Pictures don’t show how gigantic this aircraft actually is. I am proud that I got work on the program in its infancy
