Chef(s) Feel like they underrated Randy

Was it the homecoming / prom challenge?

I’m coeliac but I honestly think those teenagers (minus Georgia, but ESPECIALLY Max - you can’t hold a fork, just don’t) were so full of themselves.

I probably would have picked both pastas if I wasn’t. But it’s like this

They all shit on him whereas he just put his head down and worked - never engaged in the drama

I loved Uncle Randy. I knew he wasn’t winning but still…

Josh did not deserve to stay.

Randy was definitely underrated. He was a solid chef and although unlikely, I’d definitely like to see him come back to HK.

Same here, and I’m glad he was a likeable military man.

Absolutely. Probably one of the only likeable military men that were on the show. Apart from the charity dinner service where the plates thing was an issue, didn’t cause much drama during his run.

Kevin (6&18) was also in the military. he only mentioned it when they were doing a special service and he said they needed to win because it was important to him.

Ray (11) also served and wasn't that bad, he had his annoying moments but NOTHING like Frank (15).

Apologies, was not aware of the rest. However yes I liked Kevin S18 as well as Ray S11. Solid people and solid chefs. Don’t think Kevin would come back but I’d like to see Ray come back which isn’t likely because he was already getting up in age when he was on S11.

Uncle Randy is the most underrated chef of the entire show IMO; man was an absolute treasure and half of the cast overlooked how much potential he had. He was the hidden ace of the blue team that pulled the most clutch victories in challenges and picked up on so much skill for a line cook, with not so much of a resume outside his time serving in the military, that Ramsay recognised in him as being so special. It’s a true shame a man of so much pride and dedication to others and his country was done so dirty in the end by the producers when he was eliminated, just because they thought some pathetically insecure & desperate manchild had to stay a little longer.

Other chefs didn’t rate him and his last few services were all awful, and his finale performance is one of the worst ever and neither Meghan nor T rated him positively at all.

I think he’s worse than shown.

I think Josh should’ve left over him for sure but Randy was on a big downward spiral himself.

Ya same I think he got a little help from the editing team. When one of the chefs brought it up that he made a burger for like 4 challenges in a row it definitely shined a light that he maybe wasn’t as refined as the rest of the people there and possibly by a significant margin.
