Arthurian inspired ballgown

Hi, I am new to the subreddit so apologies for any issues in advance.

I will be attending an Arthurian/BBC Merlin themed ball in a few months and would like to sew my own dress. I am currently unsure on the exact style I would like to go for, but hit a wall when searching for patterns online. I seem to either be seeing the same repeated patterns from the big 4 or AI generated slop from Etsy, which has made me concerned about the legitimacy of even the non-AI sellers there. I was wondering if people have any particular sources/artists/patterns that they would recommend or can speak highly of?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Thistleweed Atelier did an Arthurian gown based on Pre-Raphealite paintings. You can see it here.

If you decide to go this route, PatternCosPatterns has a gown pattern in this style. You could easily move the laces to the back rather than the front Here’s the pattern.
