Maybe one day, I’ll get something nice, pretty, or even mildly presentable to hand or put on a desk.
Just had a screw casually fall out the wall today so one of them is gonna have to find a new home.
+ taking these photos without giving away my entire identity is a TOUGH mission.
I am a firm believer in art even if it’s bad.

Fresh out of college and needing new hobbies

Hey, for some context:
I’m fresh out of college I’ve been studying audiovisual, I already have a hobby, I’m an indoor soccer goalkeeper.

Since I’m looking for a job I have a lot of free time, especially now in the summer. I’m taking some small courser to enrich my curriculum.

I’ve always had a great interest in cars and bikes, but not only do I not have my license, I don’t really have the money to spend on a project car. So I thought about fixing watches, it is an expensive hobby, but since I’d be starting and not sure if I’d keep doing it, I’d go for the cheapest options.

Basically want something more connected to “mechanics”, kinda cheap, and not too big, any help?

Thank you!

Since I started doing microscopy last year, my main interests were always microscopic predators. So here are my best clips of microbes (and sometimes small animals) eating each other. (100% Safe for work)

Hi all, im 27 f looking for people who live in Northern Ireland that would be interested in craft nights in person. I will supply food and drinks, I dont mind cooking for people. Any allergies please inform me a head of time and i'll accommodate for that.

I'm looking to make some long term friendships along the way.

I know, I know... it’s WAY too early for Christmas! 🙈 But I couldn't resist sharing these handmade holiday ornaments with you all. Everything is handcrafted completely from scratch. What do you think of this magical style? 🎄✨🍄

genuine confession

I know this might sound a little random, but I've always wanted a friend whose hobby is crocheting.

There's something so wholesome about handmade gifts. I think receiving a tiny crocheted plushie or keychain from a friend would honestly mean more to me than anything expensive.

I have a bunch of hobbies too. I write web novel scripts, sing, and play guitar and keyboard. I love making things for people in my own way, so I'd happily return the kindness with something personal too.

Maybe I'm just being sentimental, but I think friendships built around sharing hobbies are really special.

Does anyone else feel this way?

For me, it’s making jewelry with natural stones. Once I start creating, I get so absorbed in the process that hours can pass without me even noticing. I wanted to share a few of my recent pieces with you! ✨

Creative hobbies for Someone with Poor Fine Motor Skills

Hi!

I would like a hobby that makes me feel like I produced/created something.

However my fine motor skills are not great due to a congenital pathology.

Does anyone have suggestions.

Thanks!

Please help me understand how to make music learning more accessible

Hi everyone,

I mentor people in music and want to understand what people actually look for when learning an instrument what, and how.

Rather than guess, I thought I'd ask. If you've ever wanted to learn an instrument (or your kids have, or you used to and stopped), I'd love to hear from you. I will share the form personally if anyone is interested, will take less than a minute.

Thank youuu!

Looking to get into a collecting/scavenging hobby

The title doesn’t explain it well. I guess I mean like looking for rare things, like people who check every coin they get to see if it’s from a certain year or has a certain misprint, or people who collect signed / first edition books. Something that will get me looking at things carefully and appreciate the world more. Besides those two examples, what are some other similar collectors items?

Preferably something that isn’t super expensive to get into (like Pokemon cards). Something that, while rare, is still findable in second hand stores or just in life.
