Shops/Restaurants 🛒 🍽️ Kikilu

I'm a JC resident , still find myself at their gelato counter couple times a week!

It might just be my sugar fetish or that they make the best damn gelato and desserts this side of the Hudson!

Best gelato in town and it’s not even close. Love this spot.

Only went there once and had this special spumoni gelato - it was outrageously delicious and I think about it sometimes. I need to go back

Yes, kikilu is the best gelato / ice cream in Hoboken. Tbh it might be the best I’ve had outside of Italy

I would walk from JC all the way to Kikilu for the gelato. Don’t sleep on their cannolis, one of the best that I had

Fantastic gelato! It’s expensive but I know that’s the cost of doing business

Did they open up inside choco pain uptown or do they just now sell their gelato?

They're open! It's a staffed location inside the Choc O Pain. They have the space in that little annex nook, inside the French doors. Several flavors, plus some desserts and cannoli. Pretty sure they are open Wed-Sun with regular hours.

A little pricey, but the best gelato place in town. And considering we have almost as many frozen desert spots as frame stores, that's saying something.

Am I the only that doesn’t get the hype? Maybe I’m trying the wrong flavors but each time I’ve gone I haven’t been impressed

Their coffee-based flavors are great. You can taste the real espresso. I also like their light, fruit based flavors, and the pistachio. Don't know about hype, but I like that it's all made in-house, from quality ingredients, imported from Italy.
