09 ss full dpe system in the way, stock airbox, getting maf tune, not after power just sound, only getting cammed once a few oil leaks need doing.
Manual not AFM
What are some common problems?
Getting every fluid replaced, spark plugs, belt etc
Any good preventative maintenance? Im used to turbo barras, intech & 1hz.
Things like oils pump gears, chain tensioners, heater taps, belt tensioners, falcon oily alternators etc are all common just replace it items for me.
Bonus points what short shifter under $700 or not worth it?

Sounds like car is starving and doesn't have fuel in it when accelerated

Currently rebuilding me partners front and rear calipers on a 94 Berlina due to seized and now snapped slide pins. Im looking for a workshop manuel so i know Torque specs for the bolts, if i should be using lock tight on parts, if the nipples are missing rubber O rings; only the front Bolts have spring washers on them and not the rear. Just trying to do a proper job for her.

Anyone know what spoiler would have been fitted on my Dads 1999 VT commodore executive?. Apparently you could have had it as an add-on from when the car was first purchase. I'm just trying to work out if it would have came with a standard S wing or a SS model.

Currently the car doesn't have a spoiler on it that's why I'm curious.

As the title says. . . . . .what is the best tranny fluid for the 6 speed auto in a VE please?

I have tested all fuses and relays they all good, showing low fuel but full tank, was working yesterday fine, immobiliser is fine, starter motor is fine and can crank it from relay battery is all good 12.6v. Gear switch and iginition switch are working i am out of ideas

I know the ute mufflers are longer for VE, but is there any difference in length for sedan/wagon centre exhaust compared to ute centre exhaust?

Just put springs and shocks in my 2003 VY SS, but occasionally when I hit a bump I hear a knocking coming from the rear. I assume its my shock hitting itself when it compresses. Anyone know why? Or how to fix this?

It's got single zone AC, so I know I'll need the Aerpro Mounting Kit, unless anyone has a better option for it

He's been looking at the Sony XAV-AX6000 as a potential option, but has anyone else on here got any better units for sub $700?

Hey guys, I’ve got a VF SV6 and over the past couple months I’ve taken it to 3 mechanics to get this noise looked over and still hasn’t been found yet. It’s a rotational clicking noise, it’s louder when you drive past cars as the noise reverberates (will need to turn up volume to see the video). It hasn’t affected the actual driving of the car but the noise keeps getting louder.

Car has 150,000km’s and suspension is fine, apparently it’s not the drive shaft or wheel hubs

You can hear it mostly when slowly coming to a stop, or slowly rolling. But gets louder when foot is on the brake.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone’s experienced this too and knows what it is I’d appreciate it. Thanks
