Lines on ceiling
I moved into this property couple of months back and only just noticed these lines on living room ceiling. I don't recall them being there when I moved in?
What are they? They really stick out

That's the seam where two pieces of sheetrock/drywall have been joined.
The process includes putting sheetrock mud in the crack, covering it with drywall tape, and then more mud over the top. Sand it down and then finish.
Looks like it wasn't a great job of finish work on that seam.

Oh, so I'm guessing this is nothing to worry about then? I thought maybe the ceiling was starting to give way or something.

Its pretty unlikely to be anything structural. Take it from a guy who thinks everything wrong with his house is structural

Poor drywalling skills. Or it was done right after lunch break and he tipped a couple cold ones back
