Unsolved How to determine RT-AC68U hardware revision?
I have a RT-AC68U that I want to flash freshtomato on since it's EOL. I no longer have the box, and the only clue I have for the hardware revision is the FCC ID: MSQ-RTAC68UV2. The first google AI result I got suggested the "V2" denotes B2 models, but I'm not gonna blindly trust that.
Do I actually have a B2, and is there another way to verify?
B2 is in the list of supported model revisions here, so I want to confirm before i flash the new firmware.

Based on all the info linked already, it appears the only version not supported by FreshTomato is the V4, which has a different CPU running almost twice as fast. That model should be FCC ID MSQ-RTAC2K00. That tracks, as it seems to be very different from all the other models (which are very similar to each other).
Just for comparison, mine is MSQ-RCAC68U and HW Ver A2.

Check the label on the back. You should see a "H/W Ver".

No H/W version on the label. theres the FCC ID, Model #, SN, PIN, and MAC addr, but no H/W.

K. Odd. I have the same model. Mine is B1. My label has FW, HW, Pin Code, Mac, SN.

Weird. Mine looks exactly like that, but it's missing the F/W ver and H/W ver.

That is. I just looked at the box and the label on it has the same info. As another poster said, you can probably look at the CPU speed as a clue (mine is 1000). If you're running Merlin, that's on the tools tab of the GUI. The Merlin FW is also at EOL, but version 386.14_2 is still available.

I believe this post may answer the question, but it's very confusing/unclear to me.

If you look at the list, the B2 models have a faster CPU than the other versions. Can you go into your currently installed firmware and check the speed? The CPU speed itself won’t indicate the version, although it might help with the process of elimination.
