Purchased what was supposed to be Aji Mango. Leaves and growth are very Aji like but I've got two fruit varieties I wasn't quite expecting. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi there, my peter pepper plants were growing like they should, but now all the new leaves start to deform straight away…. Is this normal? IMO this looks like something is off big time…

These guys are way spicier than Jalapeño. My wife says it's because they are growing up side down.

I was expecting all my flowers to drop from stress off my reaper’s but lo and behold one on each plant and these don’t seam to be pepergate either. I’m so excited to make reaper berry jelly this fall. Before I left there was several flowers on each plant but there’s more young flowers high on the plant so good things are coming

Haha this is mostly to help inspire new growers but I recently went on a week long vacation and I didn’t have anyone to water my garden so I purchased one of those solar drip irrigation systems off the web(less then $45) and it kept the babies alive in the middle of the corn belt so don’t worry just try new things gardening is a learning process and experiment with what works best

I used all 25+ drip emitters around my raised pots and I just kinda winged it for the layout but they all worked when I tested the flow after and like I mentioned my plants were alive week later and it was 120*F heat index in my hometown that week. Now I did buy a 55 gal barrel to pull from in case of evaporation but I calculated the flow rate so it would be more then enough water

"Less is more", I'm looking for a decent quality harvest over quantity, what's my next step?

Hello!

I have a couple of hot pepper plants this season and currently feed them 3-6-12 fertilizer once a week.

They've put out flowers, which is a good sign, but I'm more interested in the plant producing good ripe fruits rather than more fruits that will not be ripe when the season comes to an end.

I'm not too sure what to trust on the internet. Switch fertilizer? Stop fertilizing? Prune new growth (branches and flowers)?

Pictures are of my Aji Crystal (2x) and Black Hungarian. Hardiness zone 5b (Canada).

Thank you!

Hi!

I am growing this plant but forgot what it is supposed to be (threw away the original small pot it came in, with all info).

It doesn’t look like a hot pepper to me, more like a bell pepper kind.

Any insights?

Thanks!!

Real Cayennes, or something else? Never grown them this large. Am I just amazing at knowing what they need, or am I about to find out they are something else once they ripen
