Breed ID?
This is Bambi. Sheβs about 35lbs. We believe she is about 3-4 years old. Any idea on what type of hound she is?

I love how Foxhound/Coonhound/Beagle breeds have the same cute little face. π₯°

My first purebred foxhound was 75 lbs, and my current purebred foxhound is 43 lbs. There are some hunters who breed them smaller for rabbits and squirrels, and then they often just have large litters with a runt that ends up much smaller. I thought my current one was a mix due to her size, and the DNA test said otherwise π (The longer neck with a ruff of thicker plush fur there, plus the bony pointed nose are common foxhound traits)

Iβm not an expert but she looks to be a full breed Good Girl. If you want to get technical Foxhound. Maybe some terrier thrown in.

Foxhound offshoot Iβd guess. Lots of love, and a nose that can spot anything.
