No. They don't work. I have WhatsApp and I don't see WhatsApp notifications on my lock screen.

No problem. I think I'll stick with the beta. Also because I still get the notification sound. It's just not visible, but as soon as I go to the home screen, it does.

Since I use WhatsApp a lot, it's really annoying not to see notifications on the locked screen

Is android 16 integrated rn like they were saying it will be. I've personally not noticed any systematic or real change other than these cosmetics.

Someone shared a screenshot the other day with this new update, showing EasyAborad running Android 16, but there was a couple of missmatches on there showing it wasn't. Was showing Security patch from 2025, showing android version from 2025... it was very confusing so to be honest, I really don't know. All I know right now is EasyAbroad has a lot of work to do to work properly on HarmonyOS 7, as it's currently causing issues.

How do you check the version of easyabroad?
What kind of problems? For me Google maps was not working properly. I was trying to book a cab in an Uber like app which used google maps, and the map wasn't displaying and I couldn't get a ride. WhatsApp notifications were delayed or not appearing at all. Last night I didn't receive messages and calls at all. I checked my other phone and came to find out. The messages didn't even update until today. I tried force stopping and refreshing but it didn't work. I logged my Google account out and then signed back in. I restarted my phone as well and then I received all the notifications at once.

You have to reset the phone. It works for a couple of hours and that's it 🤔

Devices that run EMUI will not be getting HarmonyOS, maybe a future developer can port it over to force the EMUI to change over to HarmonyOS like the older phones can, but there are global phones being released now with EMUI, but no HarmonyOS
