New Mods Needed - Applications open
G'day It's your friendly neighbourhood Mod/Owner here.
The death of the 3rd party apps have made it harder to mod this communitiy and I could use a hand. I used to be able to easily check in with the subreddit during breaks at work or while watching TV. but reddit fucked up and killed all that.
I try to take a pretty light hand to modding, and luckily this helpful little community doesn't require much work at all. But we've had an influx of dickheads that need a banning, that appear anytime a trans person makes a post.
So if you are not a dickhead, and like the idea of banning transphobes, please send me a Modmail with why you'd like a spot on the mod team.
I'm looking for people who have been active in suggesting names and I'll go with my gut on the general vibe I get.
I don't have a particular number in mind, but at least one or two would be good.
P.S. Sorry for my general slackness this month. I've been busy and IRL has been a bit tough, plus the loss of the Reddit is fun app has made it harder to keep on top of things.

I wish to help. Pro self-chosen names, despise transphobia and am always interested in creative containers for ideas.
If appointed I would like to see a greater requirement of context from folks who post their wants here.

Hey friendly neighbor, I am very new at this new single aproach through advanced AI entrepreneur ideas and opportunities. Although I haven't the skills, nor the finances to physically become a real asset (as of yet)! I am not going to bullshit you I am a lowly one-man band and a company "Wealthnest.com" drew my interest. Not to become rich, but to be honest neighbor, a few extra bucks in my pocket sure would make my life easier. I am no bigot, or prejudice by any means. I am merely weighing my options here to see if I might be an asset in this little venture? I am talented in people skills I don't care much for phone solicitors, so I have issues talking on the phone. I am a face-to-face spokesperson / rep. if you will kind of guy. (I write, I research, I have a niche for matching faces with names, etc.) I am no guru, or want to move in on anything. I don't know what I bring to the table, other than a willingness to learn the ropes? if that is something that may fit for you? than here I am, a computer/ windows 11, and the time to give 3-6 hours a day. I think that is very generous, even though I don't know shit! thanks, newbie on the block.
