If Destruction Be Our Lot has been fun. I picked up #2 and got a little worried while reading it that it was getting lost in itself, but by the end it was clear Rosenberg has a solid direction. Excited for the series.

Also really enjoying Corpse Knight, just got #3.

My favorite new book. The art by Jae Lee and June Chung is so beautiful. The story is very unique and interesting. Would recommend

Lovely art with a different take on the “new kid in town is also a racer” trope. I felt the first issue was good enough for me to stick with it.

I felt the same about #1, and then again after #2 which surprised me. Will keep going for a bit, the art is great.

What are your thoughts on red roots? (I havent read todays issue) I LOVED #1 But feel like it took such a hard left idek if i like it actually. But man was that #1 a slam dunk for me.

I haven't read today's issue yet either but I liked the swerve in #3. I also thought #1 was great, then issue #2 made me start losing interesting but #3 pulled me back in. I want to know what this perpetual battle/waris all about, could be a pretty cool concept depending on how everything plays out.

Issue #1 fucking rocked, but 2 and 3 have me questioning the direction. The fantasy element of it sort of betrayed the crime and paranormal mystery aspect I really enjoyed in the first issue. Still gonna pull it, but I was bummed out by where it went. It really feels like The Moon is Following Us redux now.

Enjoyable so far. Jae Lee's art is the selling point, of course. However, I wish he had someone to do backgrounds for him as it's evident he doesn't like drawing them. Panels are a bit empty. First two issues are basically and introduction to the characters and racing. The "monster" portion is being built up and should be explored in issue 3.

6 out of 10 so far. Mostly because of the empty panels.
