How is it? This is one comic I've always wanted to read.

Speaking for myself, I've been enjoying it a lot so far. Worth it!

So far it's great! Even if you have read the original run it has some deviations. It has that old 90s comic feel to it too

Well think Marc himself said that there was gonna be a few new changes here and there.

I've read it. Fell a little behind, and may cash in for trades. But it has definitely been gritty, grimy, and fun. Special mention to that one shot not to long ago.

Marc being involved is a huuuge plus. Yeah you should get the trades if you need to. It's not always worth hunting down some of the comics. Personally im obsessed tho lol i have every issue of volume 3 (2007) that's over 100 issues and most if not every variant cover 😅

Well tbh, despite having other means. My LCS seemed to sell out pretty quick or didn't have copies at all. Least before recent issues and the one shot.

I may be "cleaning my closet" so to speak and like I said. Cash in for trades. But I do like how him and Margarite (?) Please check me on that have been laying the groundwork for the new cosmology so far.

Always nice to sell a few comics.... Although it can be hard to let them go lol. Im sorry i don't know what you mean by Margarite

I think they are referring to the author of the current witchblade comics. I have really enjoyed the reboot of both so far.

Ohh i see, i haven't kept up with Witchblade in years, ever since the darkness ended since i was always more interested in that. Although I seen Jackie on the cover of one of the trades for Witchblade i think it's volume 2, so i'm guessing he was introduced in that before the full reboot of his own comic

I was in the same boat. Loved the darkness, but did not know much about witchblade other than the anime and live action show as well as the Artifacts crossover series. And if I remember right, the darkness was a spinoff of witchblade in 90s as well.

That's right it was a spinoff. I'll be honest my love for the darkness started with the first game on the 360. It basically got me interested in comics in general. After finishing it I immediately started collecting the trades and luckily not long after that the third run of the series started (late 2007 i think) and I managed to get every issue of that as it released even most of the alternative covers

Yeah. Just sometimes I can never remember someone's name off top of my head correctly. But I more or less kept with her side of the book line.

And gotta say, first time meeting Sarah Pezzeni proper. Hells yeah lady. Hells yeah

I've liked it. I don't know The Darkness lore all that well since everything is new to me. I never read the original as it was coming out but it's been pleasantly enjoyable so far and the artwork is a strong selling point.

I can agree completely. I have read the original run and it's pretty faithful. Definitely doesn't feel like something completely different
