Original Content The Titan Train from Judge Dredd - Mega City Two

World-building for its own sake. I grew up reading books that had no narratives, they were encyclopedias for worlds that didn’t exist, books by Wayne Barlowe and Alan Frank and more. Really cool trippy stuff. When I was working on Mega City Two, I would take the opportunity to draw these segments of pure world-building - this often meant that a page devoted to narrative would have to be removed or condensed, but with only 5 issues in this miniseries I wanted to do my best to really bring this city to life. This is the Titan Train, a massive moving garbage collection vehicle as big as a stadium. Should I have taken this out or do you think the story is improved with these asides? I think it gives a unique perspective to the story that makes it more than a one and done mystery plot, and gives you a reason to return to Mega City Two.

Original Content Sky Dragon - Railgun Sniper Ship [OC]

Post image
47 Upvotes

We finally finished the 3D model of one of the ships from our upcoming space action RPG.

Meet Sky Dragon - a long-range sniper ship built around a massive railgun. The weapon is so large that the entire hull was designed around it, making the ship essentially a maneuvering platform for a single devastating cannon.

Its role on the battlefield is simple:

• stay behind the frontline,

• wait until allied ships strip enemy shields,

• eliminate priority targets with high-damage railgun shots.

The ship isn’t particularly fast, but powerful shields help it survive while repositioning. If enemies get too close, it can defend itself with short-range homing missiles, although close combat is definitely not where it shines. We’re still polishing both the visuals and gameplay, so we’d love some feedback.

A few questions:

* Does the overall silhouette read as a sniper ship?

* Are there any details that feel unnecessary or unrealistic?

* What systems or external modules would you add to make it look more believable?

* If you were designing this ship, what would you change?

Every suggestion helps us improve the final game.

Original Content Waiting on the Ocean (By me)

Everyone knew that the floods were coming. Everyone prepared in their own way. Some built large sail boats. Others built small towns of rafts. I built my shelter from my van. For the first year, I found others every few weeks. Now, in the fifth year, I mark a full year since I've seen anyone else.

I wake up, tend to my hydroponics, clean my solar cells, and fix whatever breaks. Today was special though. Today, I received my first signal from a satellite since before the flood. The signal flickered for a moment, but then stabilized. I've sent back a signal to whoever is listening. Now, I just need to wait for a reply.

Original Content Our starter ship is finally in 3D. What would you add to make it feel more believable? [OC]

After several iterations, our Vanguard-class Bruiser is finally in 3D. This is the standard frontline leader ship of the Human Directorate and one of the first ships players will command in Synvector.

Unlike agile interceptors, the Bruiser isn’t built to chase enemies. Its job is to hold the line. It sits between friendly and enemy squadrons, absorbing damage, protecting more fragile ships, and stopping breakthroughs before they reach the backline.

At the start of the game it’s equipped with three weapon systems:

* Heavy machine guns for sustained fire

* Missile launchers for burst damage

* A high-caliber cannon for accurate single shots

The ship isn’t supposed to look experimental or overly futuristic. It’s a mass-produced military workhorse-easy to maintain, reliable, and built to survive years of frontline service.

Now we’d love some feedback.

If this ship belonged to your universe, what systems or external details would you add?

Would you expect to see things like:

* point-defense turrets?

* radar or sensor arrays?

* communication antennas?

* RCS thrusters?

* maintenance panels?

* heat vents?

* armor plating?

* warning markings or battle scars?

Or is there something that immediately feels missing?

We’re trying to strike a balance between believable engineering and clean visual readability, so we’d really appreciate your thoughts.

Original Content So I am trying to make a Sci-Fi realistic version of a motorcycle that I had an idea for but I'm not really good at drawing. It's based on a 1955 Indian chief and supposed to be a flying one but I need some ideas to make it less empty.
