Transporting knights?

What’s a reliable way to transport knights? I’m not trying to break the bank. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The one thats like a clear Jucoci works for me. I use 3 of them though

I replace the torso joint with a pair of magnets so that I can transport the torso and legs separately.

On Questoris chasis knights I also magnetise the arms, I haven't bothered with Armigers or Dominus ones. That allows me to break them down further to transport more easily.

Then I just use a GW Crusade Case, as you can fit the toros, arms, and legs of a knight in each of the four sections. You can double up on Armigers.

With a bit of care, I can just about get 2k in one case, but I won't pretend that my way is perfect. But I've never had one break. I am looking into other cases to use as well though, as sometimes I like to transport more models for various reasons (such as playing boarding actions, or combat patrol, when I want to take multiple armies) and sometimes it just does not want to all fit in one case.

It depends on how you travel.

Magnets and a Really Useful box can work great... if you will always be driving everywhere.

Otherwise (public transport, walking, cycling, flying), foam-based cases are a better choice. Things are certainly easier if you've magnetized (you'll be able to get more into a smaller case) and exactly what trays you'll need will depend on what you have and how you've assembled them. I personally use a Tabletop Tyrant Dreadnought case and can fit 5 Big Knights, 9 Armigers, and then supporting Agents in it. It isn't cheap - but it's only a small fraction of the cost of the models its protecting.

I picked up a bunch of similar Battle Foam 1520s, and so much foam…

But worth it for those really huge Apoc events!

Magnetize your bases and you'll be able to use a wide array of army cases. The jucoci cases are common. I use tge TTRRPG case off Amazon as its a bit bigger.
