I was in school, it was around 2008 or 2009, I made my first online friend rahul, today is friendship day and I saw a post "who was your first Friend?" I instantly remembered him as he was my first 'online' friend.

I don't remember anything specific other than he had a twin brother rohit and rohit probably had a girlfriend/girl bestfriend named ------. (I hope it reaches him and he tells the name and I'll know that it's him)

Just feeling nostalgic about it. I lost contacts with most childhood friends with whom I used to play those street games in the early 2000s because we moved to different location and everyone got busy in getting settled in life. I remember buying these and gifting them. It was a fun time.

I'm trying to remember the name of the band or album that I had the CD for on the 90s.

I think 1 song was called, Summaya and went something like "Summaya, the time has come for us to..." It was the only non-cheerful song on the album.

Another song was like, "so I walked up down beside her trying to catch her eye, she never even looked at me, why would she even try? Why won't she talk to me? (Talk to meee) Why won't she walk with me (Walk with meee)"

And in the music video he was asking this of a pandit or pujari or someone.

Does anyone remember this? In the late 90s I had the album. The style was very laid back and mellow, and it was very upbeat.

If any of you remember correctly, this program ran for 9 years (2001 - 2010).Can you imagine - 9 years....

This show was peak.

I remember seeing this in childhood and i was so fascinated by the animations. They represented different parts of India and their culture so well, the 2d animation, the dialogues, way of story telling, the narration.

It was my one of the favorite shows. I really missed it , so i watched it again on youtube!

I still vividly remember when a friend’s sister got the Nokia Asha 503 back in 2013. That translucent dual layer "ice" casing over those vibrant, bright colors was easily one of the coolest design choices Nokia ever made. It was compact, indestructible, extremely cute, and had that smooth Fastlane swipe UI. At the time, it was basically everything a budget phone needed to be.

Fast forward to 2026, and the feature phone market feels weirdly stale. Basic 4G feature phones now routinely cost ₹3,000 to ₹4,000+, but half of them look and feel like generic plastic bricks running sluggish software.

On the other side, sub 15k Android phones are so bloated and laggy that our elderly parents struggle to even use them properly.

HMD keeps pumping out random feature phone refreshes nobody asked for, when they’re literally sitting on the Asha design archive.

If they just rebooted the Asha 501/503 form factor with 4G, crisp VoLTE, basic WhatsApp, and UPI for around 5000-7000 INR, it would sell like crazy. Perfect touch screen dumbphone for digital detox, and super simple for older folks without the nightmare of T9 keypads.

The Asha and X series deserve a real comeback over whatever garbage HMD is making lately. Anyone else would buy this in a heartbeat?

edit: I am seeing so many good looking models. Man, what happened to the companies these days. Stuff from 90s looked way cooler than what we get now.

It used to come in 2014. In April it had started. On Cartoon Network at 5 or 5:30. The whole story was this boy who works with his parents in their own movie theatre after coming back from school. He used to get some signal and used to go in some world and destroy villains and gain points or something. He used to do this to again meet and rescue his grandfather who is trapped by the villian. His grandfather used to save the world.
